Archived tumor tissue collected at screening and peripheral blood samples obtained within the first year of enrollment will serve as the basis for comprehensive molecular analyses. Whole exome sequencing (WES) and whole transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) will be performed to characterize and delineate the genomic and transcriptomic landscape of the study cohorts. Oversight will be maintained by the Institutional Review Board and an independent Native American Advisory Board to ensure cultural appropriateness, transparency, and sustained community engagement throughout the research process. The overarching objective is to generate insights that will inform the development of personalized treatment strategies in the future.","This clinical trial will focus on addressing the underrepresented Native American population served by the Urology Oncology Department at Stephenson Cancer Center.",[24,30],{"label":25,"type":17,"description":26,"interventionNames":27},"Cohort (A) Native American Men with Prostate Cancer","150 patients will be assigned in this cohort",[28,29],"Other: Bio-specimen Collection","Other: Blood Draw",{"label":31,"type":17,"description":26,"interventionNames":32},"Cohort (B) Native American Patients with Renal Cell Carcinoma",[28,29],[34,38],{"type":6,"name":35,"description":36,"armGroupLabels":37,"otherNames":17},"Bio-specimen Collection","Tissue samples will be taken from existing archived collections and sent for further analysis.",[25,31],{"type":6,"name":39,"description":40,"armGroupLabels":41,"otherNames":17},"Blood Draw","Blood samples will be collected within the first year of enrollment.",[25,31],[43],{"name":44,"affiliation":5,"role":45},"Adanma Ayanambakkam, MD, MS","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[47,52],{"name":48,"role":49,"phone":50,"phoneExt":17,"email":51},"Lead Onco Nurse","CONTACT","405-271-8777","SCC-IIT-Office@ouhsc.edu",{"name":44,"role":49,"phone":53,"phoneExt":17,"email":54},"405-271-4022","Adanma-Ayanambakkam@ou.edu",[56],{"facility":57,"status":58,"city":59,"state":60,"zip":61,"country":62,"countryCode":63,"cosmosGeoPoint":64,"geoPoint":69,"contacts":70},"OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center","RECRUITING","Oklahoma City","Oklahoma","73117","United States","US",{"type":65,"coordinates":66},"Point",[67,68],-97.51643,35.46756,{"lat":68,"lon":67},[71],{"name":72,"role":49,"phone":53,"phoneExt":17,"email":54},"Adanma Ayanambakkam, MD",{"type":74,"investigatorFullName":17,"investigatorTitle":17,"investigatorAffiliation":17,"oldNameTitle":17,"oldOrganization":17},"SPONSOR","100589929","characterizing-the-genomic-landscape-of-prostate-cancer-in-native-american-populations-nat-geno-100589929",false,"NCT06960798","Characterizing the Genomic Landscape of Cancer in Native American Populations (NAT-Geno)","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Written informed consent signed and dated by the patient prior to the performance of any study-specific procedures, sampling, or analyses.\n* At least 18 years-of-age at the time of signature of the informed consent form (ICF).\n* Patients who self-identify as Native American.\n* Patients with a pathologically proven diagnosis of PC and RCC (any stage).\n* Availability of most recent archived tumor samples.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients not of Native American descent or identity.\n* Patient does not have archival tissue available.","MALE","18 Years","100 Years",{"count":85,"type":86},300,"ESTIMATED","OBSERVATIONAL","The purpose of this study is to analyze tumor tissue samples from patients of Native American identity with prespecified cancers of interest.
