Saliva offers a noninvasive and convenient alternative for repeated metabolic monitoring, but the clinical application of salivary 1,5-AG has been limited by challenges in detection accuracy and standardization. This study therefore aims to evaluate the clinical value of salivary 1,5-AG and a novel noninvasive detection approach. First, the study will assess salivary 1,5-AG levels and compare the novel detection approach with reference measurements. Second, it will evaluate the relationships of salivary 1,5-AG with serum 1,5-AG and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) metrics to determine its potential for reflecting short-term glycemic fluctuations and glycemic control.","The participants are enrolled from the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism from Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital.",[28],{"name":29,"role":30,"phone":31,"phoneExt":21,"email":32},"Hang Su, MD","CONTACT","+86-021-64369181","suhang@shsmu.edu.cn",[34],{"facility":35,"status":21,"city":36,"state":37,"zip":38,"country":39,"countryCode":40,"cosmosGeoPoint":41,"geoPoint":46,"contacts":47},"Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital","Shanghai","Shanghai Municipality","200233","China","CN",{"type":42,"coordinates":43},"Point",[44,45],121.45806,31.22222,{"lat":45,"lon":44},[48],{"name":29,"role":30,"phone":49,"phoneExt":21,"email":32},"02164369181",{"type":51,"investigatorFullName":52,"investigatorTitle":53,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":21,"oldOrganization":21},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Jian Zhou","Professor, Chief Physician, Director","100653177","clinical-evaluation-of-salivary-15-anhydroglucitol-in-diabetes-100653177",false,"NCT07781683","Clinical Evaluation of Salivary 1,5-Anhydroglucitol in Diabetes","Development and Application of a Novel Noninvasive Salivary 1,5-Anhydroglucitol Detection Technology in Diabetes Management","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1.
