Building upon the project of the 14th Five-Year Plan, we aim to further expand the scope by establishing a clinical collaboration system involving multiple tertiary A hospitals across the country. Based on this system, we will define unified inclusion and exclusion criteria for case enrollment and establish the largest national multicenter clinical disease-specific cohort of geriatric hip fractures in China.\n2. We will prospectively collect baseline information, social data, pre-existing comorbidities and other unrelated medical history, genetic-related information, physical examination findings, laboratory and biochemical data, imaging examinations, and other relevant data from elderly patients (aged 60 years and above) with hip fractures.\n3. We will collect information on diagnosis and treatment during the patient care episode (including surgery, non-surgical management, anti-osteoporosis therapy, etc.) to build a clinical diagnosis and treatment information database.\n4. After the completion of the treatment course, we will conduct a 1- to 2-year follow-up, focusing on survival status, re-fractures, medical comorbidities, surgery-related complications, and post-discharge home care arrangements. This will enable the development of a standardized follow-up system for prognostic research on geriatric hip fractures.","Hip fracture inpatients at grade-A tertiary hospitals across China",[44],{"label":45,"type":37,"description":45,"interventionNames":37},"A cohort of elderly patients with hip fracture",[47],{"name":48,"affiliation":5,"role":49},"liangyuan wen, doctoral degree","STUDY_CHAIR",[51,57],{"name":52,"role":53,"phone":54,"phoneExt":55,"email":56},"zhaoshuo he, doctoral degree","CONTACT","+86 +17852326007","8610-8513-6171","1747493731@qq.com",{"name":58,"role":53,"phone":59,"phoneExt":37,"email":60},"ze zhang, doctoral degree","+86 +18810599419","1911210691@pku.edu.cn",[62],{"facility":5,"status":63,"city":64,"state":65,"zip":66,"country":67,"countryCode":68,"cosmosGeoPoint":69,"geoPoint":74,"contacts":75},"RECRUITING","Beijing","Beijing Municipality","100000","China","CN",{"type":70,"coordinates":71},"Point",[72,73],116.39723,39.9075,{"lat":73,"lon":72},[76,78],{"name":58,"role":53,"phone":77,"phoneExt":37,"email":60},"+86-18810599419",{"name":52,"role":53,"phone":79,"phoneExt":37,"email":56},"+86-17852326007",{"type":81,"investigatorFullName":82,"investigatorTitle":83,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":37,"oldOrganization":37},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","wenliangyuan","Chief Expert, Department of Orthopaedics, Beijing Hospital","100658166","cohort-study-on-the-prognosis-and-influencing-factors-in-elderly-patients-with-hip-fractures-in-multicenter-of-china-100658166",false,"NCT07847164","Cohort Study on the Prognosis and Influencing Factors in Elderly Patients With Hip Fractures in Multicenter of China","Inclusion Criteria:1: The subjects are of Chinese nationality.\n\n2: The subject is 60 years of age or older (including the boundary value)\n\n3:The subject has been diagnosed with hip fracture by imaging, including femoral neck fracture, intertrochanteric fracture of femur, and subtrochanteric fracture of femur\n\n4: Patients who were hospitalized for hip fracture treatment (surgical or conservative) after September 1, 2022\n\n5: The subject can fully understand and sign the informed consent form.\n\n\\-\n\nExclusion Criteria:1: Pathological fractures caused by primary or metastatic tumors of bone or bone developmental disorders\n\n2: Patients with peri-implant fractures or polytrauma (multiple injuries resulting from a single traumatic event in which two or more anatomical sites in the body are severely injured, with one of them being severely injured even in the absence of the traumatic event also posing a life-threatening risk)\n\n3: Subjects who, in the opinion of the investigator, are not eligible for enrollment in the study.\n\n\\-","ALL","60 Years",{"count":93,"type":94},10000,"ESTIMATED","2 Years","OBSERVATIONAL","To address the difficulties and problems currently facing large-scale clinical cohort studies in China, and on the basis of the existing project \"Construction of Clinical Registration Database and Risk Assessment System for Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis\" under the National Key R\\&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, this project aims to target elderly hip fracture-an international public health issue-by collaborating with 38 hospitals across the country to jointly establish the largest specialized cohort for elderly hip fracture in China, thereby providing a data platform and technical support for multicenter clinical cohort studies on elderly hip fracture.",[99],"Hip Fractures (i.e. Femoral Neck or Intertrochanteric Hip Fractures)",[101],"Hip fractures (i.e. femoral neck or intertrochanteric hip fractures)","2026-09-23",{"date":104,"type":105},"2026-09-29","ACTUAL",{"date":107,"type":105},"2024-12-01",{"date":109,"type":94},"2027-12-31",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
