prospective components):\n\nPatients aged 18 and over:\n\n* With a histological diagnosis of incident diffuse glioma since January 1, 2018\n* Residing in Réunion at the time of diagnosis,\n* Having been informed about the study procedures\n* Having agreed to participate in the study\n\nSocio-anthropological study (prospective component):\n\nPatients:\n\n* Meeting the inclusion criteria for the prospective quantitative study and agreeing to participate in the qualitative component,\n* Speaking French. • Able to participate in a face-to-face interview\n\nHealthcare Professional:\n\n* Professionals involved in the care of patients with brain tumors (medical, paramedical, social care, support care, etc.) who have agreed to participate in the study\n* The healthcare professionals concerned will be general practitioners, neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, home healthcare physicians, palliative care physicians, pathologists, nurses or biological factors, and care pathways. However, the Réunion population is multicultural and highly cosmopolitan, experiencing rapid aging, and its socio-economic indicators are among the most pessimistic of all French departments. Furthermore, the healthcare services available on the island are less comprehensive than those in metropolitan France (Insee 2018). Finally, the management of patients with gliomas, particularly high-grade gliomas, remains very complex, with significant medical and social challenges (supportive care, end-of-life care, etc.).
