Baseline demographic and clinical characteristics, including age, gender, body mass index, smoking and alcohol history, hypertension, number of gallstones, and gallbladder wall thickness, will be recorded.\n\nPatients will be randomly allocated to receive one of the predefined gallbladder extraction techniques. The port site used for gallbladder retrieval and total operative time will be documented. Intraoperative events, including gallbladder perforation, bile spillage, and stone spillage, will be recorded according to predefined operational definitions.\n\nAll procedures will be performed under general anesthesia by the same surgical team. Wound closure will be performed by the researcher using a standardized technique to minimize procedural variability and potential bias.\n\nFollowing surgery, patients will be monitored in the postoperative ward for 24 hours. Postoperative pain will be assessed using a standardized pain score before discharge. Patients will subsequently be followed in the outpatient department for 10 days, during which the surgical wound will be assessed for infection and other relevant postoperative complications.",[34,39],{"label":35,"type":36,"description":11,"interventionNames":37},"Group Endobag","ACTIVE_COMPARATOR",[38],"Device: Endobag",{"label":40,"type":41,"description":11,"interventionNames":42},"Group Control","PLACEBO_COMPARATOR",[43],"Device: placebo group",[45,50],{"type":46,"name":47,"description":48,"armGroupLabels":49,"otherNames":11},"DEVICE","Endobag","Gallbladder will be removed using Endobag",[35],{"type":46,"name":51,"description":52,"armGroupLabels":53,"otherNames":11},"placebo group","Gallbladder will be removed without using Endobag during Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy",[40],[55],{"name":56,"role":57,"phone":58,"phoneExt":11,"email":59},"Sadia Principal Investigator, MBBS","CONTACT","+92-318-5190442","sadiaali603@gmail.com",[61],{"facility":62,"status":63,"city":64,"state":65,"zip":66,"country":67,"countryCode":68,"cosmosGeoPoint":69,"geoPoint":74,"contacts":75},"Rawal Institute of Health Sciences","RECRUITING","Islamabad","Federal","44000","Pakistan","PK",{"type":70,"coordinates":71},"Point",[72,73],73.04329,33.72148,{"lat":73,"lon":72},[76,78],{"name":77,"role":57,"phone":11,"phoneExt":11,"email":11},"Mirza",{"name":79,"role":57,"phone":80,"phoneExt":11,"email":81},"Mirza Inam Ul Haq, MBBS,MPH,MBA,PhD,PGD-HPE,MHPE","+92-300-9527527","fihs06.2023@gmail.com",{"type":83,"investigatorFullName":84,"investigatorTitle":85,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":11,"oldOrganization":11},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Sadia Ali","Principal Investigator","100656288","improvised-endobag-vs-direct-gallbladder-extraction-in-laparoscopic-cholecystectomy-100656288",false,"NCT07823803","Improvised Endobag vs Direct Gallbladder Extraction in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy","Retrieval of Gallbladder by Improvised Endobag Versus Direct Extraction in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Elective Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients having common bile duct stones or dilatation\n* Acute cholecystitis, gallbladder perforation, malignancy (on medical record).\n* Patients requiring conversion to open cholecystectomy, ASA III-IV\n* Patients with skin diseases near wound site, diabetes (HbA1c\\>6.5%), and Hb \\\u003C10gm\u002Fdl",true,"ALL","20 Years","70 Years",{"count":98,"type":99},120,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[102],"NA","Eligigble patients will be enrolled after obtaining informed consent.
