All-on-Four fixed implant-supported prostheses have become a widely used solution, but the long-term success of these restorations depends heavily on the framework material used, including its resistance to microbial adhesion and its effect on peri-implant tissue health.\n\nThis randomized clinical trial compares two framework materials: Zirconia, a high-strength ceramic material, and Zantex, a fiber-reinforced polymer material, both used to fabricate mandibular hybrid prostheses supported by four implants placed following the All-on-Four protocol.\n\nMicrobial adhesion will be assessed by evaluating biofilm accumulation on the prosthesis frameworks retrieved under sterile conditions at set time intervals. Peri-implant tissue health will be evaluated clinically at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months following prosthesis delivery, using standard clinical parameters including modified plaque index, modified bleeding on probing, and probing depth.\n\nA total of 14 patients (7 per group) will be enrolled based on sample size calculations targeting 90% statistical power.",[33,39],{"label":34,"type":35,"description":36,"interventionNames":37},"Zirconia Framework Group","EXPERIMENTAL","Mandibular hybrid prosthesis fabricated with Zirconia framework, supported by four implants following the All-on-Four protocol.",[38],"Device: Zirconia Framework",{"label":40,"type":35,"description":41,"interventionNames":42},"Zantex Framework Group","Mandibular hybrid prosthesis fabricated with Zantex (fiber-reinforced polymer) framework, supported by four implants following the All-on-Four protocol.",[43],"Device: Zantex Framework",[45,50],{"type":46,"name":47,"description":48,"armGroupLabels":49,"otherNames":23},"DEVICE","Zirconia Framework","A metal-free zirconia ceramic framework used to fabricate a screw-retained mandibular hybrid prosthesis supported by four dental implants (All-on-Four protocol)",[34],{"type":46,"name":51,"description":52,"armGroupLabels":53,"otherNames":23},"Zantex Framework","A fiber-reinforced polymer (Zantex) metal-free framework used to fabricate a screw-retained mandibular hybrid prosthesis supported by four dental implants (All-on-Four protocol).",[40],[55],{"facility":56,"status":57,"city":58,"state":59,"zip":60,"country":61,"countryCode":62,"cosmosGeoPoint":63,"geoPoint":68,"contacts":69},"Faculty of Dentistry, Kafrelsheikh University","RECRUITING","Kafr ash Shaykh","Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate","33511","Egypt","EG",{"type":64,"coordinates":65},"Point",[66,67],30.93991,31.11174,{"lat":67,"lon":66},[70],{"name":71,"role":72,"phone":73,"phoneExt":74,"email":75},"Maged Alameri, BDS","CONTACT","00201117599298","00201155617217","majed.alameri.07@hotmail.com",{"type":77,"investigatorFullName":78,"investigatorTitle":79,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":23,"oldOrganization":23},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Maged Alameri","Postgraduate Student","100655550","microbial-adhesion-and-peri-implant-tissue-health-in-all-on-four-hybrid-prostheses-supported-by-zantex-or-zirconia-frameworks-100655550",false,"NCT07811661","Microbial Adhesion and Peri-Implant Tissue Health in All-on-Four Hybrid Prostheses Supported by Zantex or Zirconia Frameworks","Microbial Adhesion and Peri-Implant Tissue Health in All-on-Four Hybrid Prosthesis Supported by Zantex or Zirconia Framework.
