Male and Female adults with BMI 32-42 kg\u002Fm²\n* Elevated blood test for hsCRP consistent with chronic systemic inflammation\n* At least one cardiovascular risk factor or metabolic syndrome feature\n* Stable background therapies and willing to maintain stable diet\u002Fexercise habits during the study\n\nKey Exclusion Criteria:\n\n* Type 1 diabetes,\n* Uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes,\n* Uncontrolled hypertension and \u002For hyperlipidemia\n* Recent weight change of 5% or more,\n* Use of weight-loss medications\u002Fprograms\n* Clinically relevant medical condition(s) that put the
