Supplementing spinal anesthesia with an ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block targeting the ilioinguinal and iliohypogastric nerves provides localized pain relief. Adding adjuvant medications to the local anesthetic may extend the duration of pain control and reduce systemic analgesic requirements.\n\nParticipants are randomly allocated to one of three groups:\n\n* Control Group: Receives bupivacaine with normal saline.\n* Nalbuphine Group: Receives bupivacaine combined with nalbuphine.\n* Dexmedetomidine Group: Receives bupivacaine combined with dexmedetomidine.\n\nThe primary objective is to assess the duration of analgesia by measuring the time from the regression of spinal sensory anesthesia until the first request for rescue pain medication. Secondary objectives include evaluating total 24-hour pain medication consumption, postoperative pain scores, vital signs, sedation scores, patient satisfaction, and side effects.",[79,80],"Inguinal Hernia","Postoperative Pain",[82,54,50,46,83,84],"Ilioinguinal-iliohypogastric nerve block","Spinal anesthesia","Postoperative analgesia","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-09-18",{"date":88,"type":89},"2026-09-23","ACTUAL",{"date":91,"type":73},"2026-10",{"date":93,"type":73},"2027-11",{"name":5,"class":6}]
