This prospective observational study aims to determine the proportion of patients aged 65 years and older who develop postoperative cognitive decline at 3 weeks and 3 months following ambulatory cataract surgery.\n\nParticipants will complete a baseline Tele-Montreal Cognitive Assessment (T-MoCA) before surgery and repeat the assessment remotely at 3 weeks and 3 months after surgery. Demographic, medical, anesthetic, and procedural data will also be collected. The findings will improve understanding of postoperative cognitive outcomes in elderly patients undergoing ambulatory cataract surgery and help identify patients who may be at increased risk for postoperative cognitive decline.",[63,64,65,66],"Post-Operative Cognitive Decline in Older Adults","Post-operative Cognitive Decline","Perioperative Neurocognitive Disorders","Cataract Surgery Anesthesia",[68,69,70,71,72,73],"perioperative neurocognitive disorders","POCD","T-MoCa","Tele-Montreal Cognitive Assessment","Cataract surgery","anesthesia","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-07-15",{"date":77,"type":78},"2026-07-20","ACTUAL",{"date":80,"type":59},"2026-08-01",{"date":82,"type":59},"2027-11-01",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
