Following Seldinger puncture of the common femoral artery, an introducer sheath is placed. Diagnostic renal angiography is performed to localize the pseudoaneurysm and assess the vascular anatomy. Selective catheterization of the affected branch is achieved using a microcatheter. An embolic material is delivered into the pseudoaneurysm lumen or into the feeding vessel. Depending on the anatomical features and operator preference, microcoils (Guglielmi detachable coils or fibered coils), liquid embolic agents (Onyx, glutaraldehyde-acrylic copolymer), or a combination thereof are used. Completion angiography is performed to confirm complete occlusion of the pseudoaneurysm and preservation of blood flow in the unaffected renal artery branches. After removal of the introducer sheath, compression of the puncture site is applied for hemostasis.",[9],[21,25],{"name":22,"affiliation":23,"role":24},"Vigen Malkhasyan, Doctor of Medical Sciences","Botkin Moscow Multidisciplinary Scientific and Clinical Center of the Moscow Department of Healthcare; 2 Russian University of Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia","STUDY_CHAIR",{"name":26,"affiliation":23,"role":27},"Dmitry Pushkar, Academician of the RAS","STUDY_DIRECTOR",[29],{"name":30,"role":31,"phone":32,"phoneExt":10,"email":33},"Nikita Astakhov","CONTACT","+7 (968) 490-46-72","botkinhospital@zdrav.mos.ru",{"type":35,"investigatorFullName":36,"investigatorTitle":37,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":10,"oldOrganization":10},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Malkhasyan Vigen Andreevich","Head of the department","100648768","renal-artery-pseudoaneurysm-after-pcnl-100648768",false,"NCT07724912","Renal Artery Pseudoaneurysm After PCNL","Risk Factors, Clinical Features and Outcomes of Management for Renal Artery Pseudoaneurysm After PCNL: A Multicenter Retrospective Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\nAge ≥18 years\n\nUnderwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL)\n\nRenal artery pseudoaneurysm confirmed by CT angiography\n\nFollow-up ≥30 days post-procedure\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nKnown pre-existing renal vascular anomalies or abnormalities\n\nIncomplete medical records (missing key data for analysis)","ALL","18 Years",{"count":48,"type":49},50,"ESTIMATED","1 Year","OBSERVATIONAL","In a multicenter retrospective study, to assess the incidence and risk factors of renal artery pseudoaneurysm after percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and to characterize the clinical presentation and treatment outcomes.",[54],"Artery Pseudoaneurysm After PCNL",[56],"Renal artery pseudoaneurysm, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, PCNL, retrospective multicenter study, risk factors, incidence, endovascular embolization","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-07-20",{"date":60,"type":61},"2026-07-24","ACTUAL",{"date":63,"type":49},"2026-09-09",{"date":65,"type":49},"2027-05-29",{"name":5,"class":6}]
