Alternatively, a universally offered screening approach is defined as screening all, regardless of behavior informing risk. There are two types of universally offered screening, opt-in and opt-out. With opt-in screening, all patients are offered screening, which they may then agree to undergo. Opt-out screening consists of notifying patients that the test will be conducted unless they explicitly decline.\n\nEach screening strategy implements the cSHS, a text messaging platform, and Clinical Decision Support for identification of youth needing HIV treatment\u002Fprevention and linkage to services.",[9,14,17,20,23,26],null,[35,40],{"name":36,"role":37,"phone":38,"phoneExt":33,"email":39},"Erin Ricketts","CONTACT","240-453-2786","erinricketts@westat.com",{"name":41,"role":37,"phone":42,"phoneExt":33,"email":43},"Nancy Liu","718-980-3937","NancyLiu@westat.com",[45,67,84,101,118],{"facility":46,"status":47,"city":48,"state":49,"zip":50,"country":51,"countryCode":52,"cosmosGeoPoint":53,"geoPoint":58,"contacts":59},"University of South Florida","RECRUITING","Tampa","Florida","33612","United States","US",{"type":54,"coordinates":55},"Point",[56,57],-82.45843,27.94752,{"lat":57,"lon":56},[60,64],{"name":61,"role":37,"phone":62,"phoneExt":33,"email":63},"Elizabeth Enriquez-Bruce","813-250-2574","enriquezbruce@usf.edu",{"name":65,"role":66,"phone":33,"phoneExt":33,"email":33},"Carina Rodriguez, MD","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",{"facility":68,"status":47,"city":69,"state":70,"zip":71,"country":51,"countryCode":52,"cosmosGeoPoint":72,"geoPoint":76,"contacts":77},"Emory Atlanta Adolescent Consortium","Atlanta","Georgia","30322",{"type":54,"coordinates":73},[74,75],-84.38798,33.749,{"lat":75,"lon":74},[78,82],{"name":79,"role":37,"phone":80,"phoneExt":33,"email":81},"Kaylin Dance","404-727-5642","kaylin.dance@emory.edu",{"name":83,"role":66,"phone":33,"phoneExt":33,"email":33},"Andres Camacho-Gonzalez, MD",{"facility":85,"status":47,"city":86,"state":87,"zip":88,"country":51,"countryCode":52,"cosmosGeoPoint":89,"geoPoint":93,"contacts":94},"Johns Hopkins University","Baltimore","Maryland","21287",{"type":54,"coordinates":90},[91,92],-76.61219,39.29038,{"lat":92,"lon":91},[95,99],{"name":96,"role":37,"phone":97,"phoneExt":33,"email":98},"Jessica Coleman-Lewis, MD","3013854868","jcolem52@jh.edu",{"name":100,"role":66,"phone":33,"phoneExt":33,"email":33},"Errol Fields, MD",{"facility":102,"status":47,"city":103,"state":104,"zip":105,"country":51,"countryCode":52,"cosmosGeoPoint":106,"geoPoint":110,"contacts":111},"St. Jude Children's Research Hospital","Memphis","Tennessee","38015",{"type":54,"coordinates":107},[108,109],-90.04898,35.14953,{"lat":109,"lon":108},[112,116],{"name":113,"role":37,"phone":114,"phoneExt":33,"email":115},"Jamie Russell","901-595-8300","jamie.russell@stjude.org",{"name":117,"role":66,"phone":33,"phoneExt":33,"email":33},"Aditya Gaur, MD",{"facility":119,"status":47,"city":120,"state":121,"zip":122,"country":51,"countryCode":52,"cosmosGeoPoint":123,"geoPoint":127,"contacts":128},"Baylor College of Medicine","Houston","Texas","77030",{"type":54,"coordinates":124},[125,126],-95.36327,29.76328,{"lat":126,"lon":125},[129,133],{"name":130,"role":37,"phone":131,"phoneExt":33,"email":132},"Litty Koshy","832-822-1038","Litty.Koshy@bcm.edu",{"name":134,"role":66,"phone":33,"phoneExt":33,"email":33},"Mary Paul, MD",{"type":136,"investigatorFullName":33,"investigatorTitle":33,"investigatorAffiliation":33,"oldNameTitle":33,"oldOrganization":33},"SPONSOR","100648960","screen2prevent-s2p-100648960",false,"NCT07728123","Screen2Prevent (S2P)","Screen2Prevent (S2P): Using Digital Health to Improve HIV Screening and Prevention for Adolescents in the Emergency Department","S2P","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age 14-24 years, inclusive\n* Present to the participating ED, regardless of chief complaint during the study period\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* None",true,"ALL","14 Years","24 Years",{"count":150,"type":151},84000,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[154],"NA","Screen2Prevent is a study intended to improve HIV prevention and detection through implementation and evaluation of three different broad-scale HIV screening approaches a) targeted, b) universally offered opt-in, and c) universally offered opt-out in Emergency Departments (EDs) by leveraging digital health to identify and link adolescents seeking care in the ED to HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)\u002FAntiretroviral treatment (ART).",[157],"HIV Infections",[159,160,161,162,163,164],"HIV","adolescents","emergency department","preventive care","mHealth","PrEP","2026-08-14",{"date":167,"type":168},"2026-08-17","ACTUAL",{"date":170,"type":168},"2026-06-16",{"date":172,"type":151},"2028-10-31",{"name":5,"class":6},5]
