However, it is reported that videolaryngoscopy, compared to direct laryngoscopy, can partially separate the relationship between glottic visualization quality and tracheal tube placement difficulty. Currently, there is no standardized and widely accepted classification system specific to videolaryngoscopy tracheal intubation in pediatric patients. To address this deficiency, the Pediatric Videolaryngoscopic Intubation and Difficult Airway Classification (PeDiAC) score was developed and prospectively defined and validated to determine the difficulty level of pediatric videolaryngoscopy intubation. In this study, the diagnostic performance of the PeDiAC score was evaluated in comparison with the traditionally used Cormack-Lehane classification, and its superiority was investigated. In this planned study, the primary outcome to be evaluated is intubation time, while the secondary outcome is assessed using the PeDiAC score. The aim is to compare the difficulty of intubation between the two devices based on this score. This study aims to determine whether there are differences between the two different videolaryngoscopes in terms of similar clinical outcomes.","pediatric participant",[31,36],{"label":32,"type":24,"description":33,"interventionNames":34},"group E","In this group, intubation will be performed using an Endolarenx brand videolaryngoscope.",[35],"Device: In this group, intubation will be performed using a Endolarenx brand videolaryngoscope",{"label":37,"type":24,"description":38,"interventionNames":39},"Grup B","In this group, intubation will be performed using a Besdata brand videolaryngoscope.",[40],"Device: In this group, intubation will be performed using a Besdata brand videolaryngoscope",[42,46],{"type":43,"name":44,"description":44,"armGroupLabels":45,"otherNames":24},"DEVICE","In this group, intubation will be performed using a Endolarenx brand videolaryngoscope",[32],{"type":43,"name":47,"description":47,"armGroupLabels":48,"otherNames":24},"In this group, intubation will be performed using a Besdata brand videolaryngoscope",[37],[50],{"name":51,"affiliation":5,"role":52},"Hatice Selcuk Kuşderci","STUDY_DIRECTOR",[54,58],{"name":51,"role":55,"phone":56,"phoneExt":24,"email":57},"CONTACT","+905052159896","drkusderci@hotmail.com",{"name":59,"role":55,"phone":60,"phoneExt":24,"email":61},"Ebru Kayıkçi","+905343605118","ebrukayikci@hotmail.com",[63],{"facility":5,"status":64,"city":65,"state":66,"zip":67,"country":68,"countryCode":24,"cosmosGeoPoint":69,"geoPoint":74,"contacts":75},"RECRUITING","Samsun","Mağaza Seçiniz","55090","Turkey (Türkiye)",{"type":70,"coordinates":71},"Point",[72,73],36.3361,41.27976,{"lat":73,"lon":72},[76],{"name":51,"role":55,"phone":77,"phoneExt":24,"email":57},"05052159896",{"type":79,"investigatorFullName":24,"investigatorTitle":24,"investigatorAffiliation":24,"oldNameTitle":24,"oldOrganization":24},"SPONSOR","100657463","two-different-videolaryngoscopes-were-used-n-the-pediatric-patient-group-100657463",false,"NCT07837882","Two Different Videolaryngoscopes Were Used İn The Pediatric Patient Group","Evaluation Of Two Different Videolaryngoscopes İn A Pediatric Patient Group; Prospectus Observational Study","Pediatric","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* ASA I-II\n* 10-40 kg\n* 2-10 years old\n* Elective surgery\n* Requirement for intubation under general anesthesia\n* Expected normal airway\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Difficult airway on preoperative assessment\n* Need for rapid serial intubation\n* History of previous difficult intubation\n* Cervical instability\n* Upper respiratory tract infection within the last 4 weeks\n* Neuromuscular disease\n* History of asthma","ALL","2 Years","10 Years",{"count":92,"type":93},60,"ESTIMATED","OBSERVATIONAL","Modern alternatives to traditional laryngoscopes utilize fiber optic or digital technology to project images from the tip of the laryngoscope onto an eyepiece or monitor for improved visualization by the practitioner.
