The study will include children and adolescents with camptodactyly who have a proximal interphalangeal joint flexion contracture of 30 degrees or more and an indication for surgical treatment.\n\nThe main question the study aims to answer is:\n\n\\- Does a radial longitudinal flap provide better gain and maintenance of finger extension six months after surgery compared with a full-thickness skin graft?\n\nThe study will also evaluate:\n\n* Movement of the affected finger;\n* Recurrence of the deformity;\n* Surgical complications;\n* Hand function;\n* Patient and\u002For parent or caregiver satisfaction;\n* Adherence to rehabilitation and nighttime splint use;\n* Overall surgical outcome.\n\nResearchers will compare radial longitudinal flap and full-thickness skin graft to determine whether the radial longitudinal flap provides better maintenance of finger correction.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Undergo the surgical treatment indicated for camptodactyly, with skin coverage using either a radial longitudinal flap or a full-thickness skin graft, according to randomization;\n* Be evaluated before surgery and at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks and 6 months after surgery;\n* Have movement of the affected finger assessed using standardized goniometry;\n* Follow the postoperative rehabilitation protocol, including occupational therapy and nighttime extension splint use;\n* Complete assessments of hand function and satisfaction at the scheduled evaluation periods.\n* Approximately 42 eligible fingers will be randomized, with 21 fingers allocated to each treatment group. If a participant has more than one eligible finger, each eligible finger may be randomized independently.",[25],"Camptodactyly",[25,27,28,29,30,31],"Hand Surgery","Radial Longitudinal Flap","Full-Thickness Skin Graft","Randomized Clinical Trial","Congenital Hand Deformity","RECRUITING","2026-09-02",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-09-03","ACTUAL",{"date":33,"type":36},{"date":39,"type":19},"2028-09-01",{"name":41,"class":42},"Associação de Assistência a Criança Deficiente","OTHER",""]
