Participants with physiologic gingival hyperpigmentation will be randomly assigned to receive conventional gingival depigmentation with or without adjunctive acid application. The primary outcome is the improvement in gingival esthetics, while secondary outcomes include postoperative healing, pain, patient satisfaction, and recurrence of pigmentation.
