As a founding member of the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health (EACH), the ESC is advocating for European and National Cardiovascular Health Plans which would include a cardiovascular and diabetes health check as part of a screening process for citizens.\n\nIn line with this call for public health diagnosis of CV health, the ESC is committed to raising awareness on the need for actions and proposes to offer complimentary tests to delegates at ESC Congress 2026 from 28-31 August 2026 in Munich, Germany.\n\nThe primary objective of the study is to screen the CV risk among the ESC Annual Congress 2026 attendees with a focus on healthcare professionals (HCP) and to stratify by primary or secondary prevention.",[26],"Cardiovascular Risks","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-08-18",{"date":30,"type":31},"2026-08-21","ACTUAL",{"date":33,"type":22},"2026-08-28",{"date":35,"type":22},"2026-08-31",{"name":37,"class":38},"European Society of Cardiology","NETWORK",{"id":40,"slug":41,"hasResults":11,"nctId":42,"briefTitle":43,"officialTitle":43,"acronym":44,"eligibilityCriteria":45,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":18,"minAge":19,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":46,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":4,"briefSummary":48,"conditions":49,"keywords":51,"overallStatus":54,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":55,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":56,"startDateStruct":58,"completionDateStruct":60,"leadSponsor":62,"locationsCount":63},"100573641","chronic-coronary-syndrome-snapshot-study-100573641","NCT06748924","Chronic Coronary Syndrome Snapshot Study","C2S2","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with angina and\u002For dyspnoea, and suspected coronary artery disease.\n* Patients with new onset of heart failure or reduced left ventricular function.\n* Patients within 1 year after an acute coronary syndrome or recent revascularisation.\n* Patients beyond 1 year after initial diagnosis or revascularisation.\n* Patients with Angina with No Obstructive Coronary Artery disease (ANOCA)(e.g., microvascular angina, vasospastic angina).\n* Asymptomatic subjects referred for screening for coronary artery disease.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with a recent acute coronary syndrome (defined as those within 1 month of a diagnosis of unstable angina, non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction or ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction).\n* Patients with conditions unrelated to CCS that significantly limit their ability to participate in the study or interfere with the assessment of guideline adherence.\n* Patients participating in any clinical study where the protocol recommends deviations from guidelines recommendations.",{"count":47,"type":22},4000,"The goal of this observational study is to evaluate the current adherence to the 2019 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Guidelines on Chronic Coronary Syndrome among healthcare professionals and identify potential barriers and facilitators to guideline implementation in patients with Chronic Coronary Syndrome (CCS). The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nAIM 1 - Evaluate Adherence to the 2019 ESC Guidelines on CCS Among Healthcare Professionals: To comprehensively assess the extent to which healthcare professionals adhere to the 2019 ESC Guidelines on CCS. • SUB AIM 1.1 - Assess Variations in Adherence Across Healthcare Settings: Identifying variations in adherence patterns across different healthcare settings (e.g., primary care clinics, specialty hospitals, and other healthcare facilities) to shed light on the impact of resource availability on guideline implementation.\n\n* SUB AIM 1.2 - Analyse Regional Variations: Identifying variations in adherence patterns across different countries or regions, to provide insights into the influence of healthcare systems, cultural factors, and regional disparities on guideline adherence.\n* SUB AIM 1.3 - Examine Disparities in Guideline Adherence: Identifying variations in adherence patterns among different demographic groups of healthcare professionals, including gender, age, years of experience, and specialty, to shed light on potential inequities in guideline implementation and help tailor interventions accordingly.\n\nAIM 2 - Identify Potential Barriers and Facilitators to Guideline Implementation:\n\nThrough data analysis, we aim to identify potential barriers that hinder guideline implementation and facilitators that promote adherence and offer actionable insights for improvement. These barriers and facilitators may encompass a wide range of factors, including knowledge gaps, resource limitations, organizational constraints, and patient-related variables.\n\n• SUB AIM 2.1 - Equitable access to cardiovascular care: Identifying variations in adherence patterns across sex and ethnicity categories, with a special focus on minorities.\n\nParticipants will not have more interventions than their usual care.",[50],"Chronic Coronary Syndrome",[52,53,50],"Observational study","ESC Guidelines","RECRUITING","2025-01-08",{"date":57,"type":31},"2025-01-09",{"date":59,"type":31},"2024-12-02",{"date":61,"type":22},"2025-06-02",{"name":37,"class":38},1,{"id":65,"slug":66,"hasResults":11,"nctId":67,"briefTitle":68,"officialTitle":69,"acronym":70,"eligibilityCriteria":71,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":18,"minAge":19,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":72,"targetDuration":74,"studyType":23,"phases":4,"briefSummary":75,"conditions":76,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":54,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":78,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":79,"startDateStruct":81,"completionDateStruct":83,"leadSponsor":85,"locationsCount":86},"100562292","scad--a-registry-of-spontaneous-coronary-artery-dissection-100562292","NCT06601270","SCAD : a Registry of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection","A Registry of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection","SCAD","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patient having signed an Informed Consent\n* Patient aged 18 years and over\n* SCAD clinical diagnosis within the past 10 years and available coronary angiographic imagery\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patient unwilling or unable to consent\n* Patients with iatrogenic or atherosclerotic coronary dissection",{"count":73,"type":22},1500,"5 Years","Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is an increasingly recognised cause of non-atherosclerotic acute coronary syndromes (ACS), predominantly afflicting young women without conventional atherosclerotic risk factors. Knowledge of SCAD has advanced considerably in the last few years as a result of data from a number of local and national registries 1-6. Like all rarer diseases however, a better understanding of SCAD will require international collaboration. At present, there is no European or International SCAD registry despite increasing recognition that there are key differences in the diagnosis, interventional and medical management of SCAD compared with conventional atherosclerotic ACS. The ESC-ACCA Study Group on Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection supported by the European Observational Research Programme will now build the first pan-European SCAD registry to advance our understanding of current management of this condition, inform guidelines, educate clinical colleagues and advance research.",[77],"Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection","2024-10-28",{"date":80,"type":31},"2024-10-29",{"date":82,"type":31},"2021-01-30",{"date":84,"type":22},"2027-10",{"name":37,"class":38},73,""]
