Inspiratory muscle training, by strengthening respiratory muscles like the diaphragm, improves breathing efficiency, reduces muscle fatigue and shortness of breath during exercise, and thus enhances physical performance and quality of life.\n\nMoreover, inspiratory muscle training has a significant impact on balance. The diaphragm plays an essential role in maintaining postural stability, and training it can enhance the core muscles' contribution to postural balance, improve spinal support, and reduce the risk of falls. This makes it a promising non-pharmacological therapy for older adults. Therefore, inspiratory muscle training is considered a solution to improve the daily functional capacity, respiratory efficiency, and physical performance of elderly individuals.\n\nMethods:\n\nThis study is a pilot study aimed at comparing muscle training (inspiratory muscle training, IMT) and incentive spirometer (Triflow) on respiratory muscle strength, pulmonary function, functional exercise capacity, quality of life, and physical activity in healthy older adults in the community. Due to limitations in manpower and resources, a convenience sampling method will be used, and participants will be recruited from 6-8 community centers, with cluster randomization at the community level. Each community center is expected to recruit 10-15 participants, with a total of 80 participants. The experimental group will use a handheld threshold trainer (n = 40, starting at 40% of Maximum Inspiratory Pressure, MIP), while the control group will use an inducible spirometer (n = 40, with the goal of raising one or more balls to the top). This affects their physical health, psychological development, and social skills, and may increase the risk of nearsightedness. Therefore, it is essential to implement muscle training and outdoor activities in schools, travel agencies, and kindergartens. This project aims to promote the comprehensive development of children through systematic muscle training and enhanced outdoor activities, integrating college students from early childhood education programs, travel agencies, and kindergartens to establish habits that prevent nearsightedness.\n\nIn the kindergarten setting, 60 children in the senior class will serve as the control group, while another 60 will be in the intervention group. The intervention group will participate in 10 weeks of muscle training and outdoor activities, including core exercises 3 times a week for 60 minutes each session from 4pm to 6pm. Additionally, there will be subsidized a total of 2 outdoor activities on weekends. This approach will not only improve the children's coordination and flexibility but also enhance their physical fitness. Regarding travel agencies, tailored outdoor activities specifically designed for young children can be created, such as ecological explorations and wilderness survival training, allowing children to enjoy the fun of movement and learning in a safe environment. Travel agencies should collaborate with educational institutions to provide professional guidance and safety assurances, giving parents peace of mind. For kindergartens, a comprehensive outdoor activity plan should be established, regularly organizing sports days and group competitions to encourage children to participate in team sports like soccer and relay races. This not only helps improve the children's muscle strength but also fosters their spirit of cooperation and social skills. Some cell and animal experiments have pointed out that drinking tea may be related to hypotension, body composition and vision problems, and there are more and more related advertisements, especially for hibiscus tea, which is rich in anthocyanins. However, there is a lack of literature on the effectiveness of hibiscus tea drinks in preventing and treating blood pressure, body composition and vision problems in college students.\n\nPurposes:\n\nThis study used a randomized human trial to evaluate the effects of drinking hibiscus tea on the control and reduction of blood pressure, body composition, and near vision problems. 100 subjects were divided into 2 groups: the hibiscus tea group and the boiled water drinking group, and they continued to drink it for 10 weeks.
