Cognitive rehabilitation has shown promising results in addressing these difficulties. The goal of this pilot randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of the CanCOG®- Cognitive Rehabilitation in Cancer program in Portuguese adult cancer survivors with CRCI.\n\nAdult non-central nervous system cancer survivors (n=60) will be randomly assigned to receive either the CanCOG® intervention or treatment as usual.\n\nCanCOG® is a structured cognitive rehabilitation program designed to help cancer survivors manage cognitive difficulties through cognitive training exercises, psychoeducation, and compensatory strategy training. The program consists of six weekly sessions of 1 hour and 30 minutes each, delivered over six consecutive weeks. Sessions are administered in person in small groups (3-9 participants) and are led by a trained professional.\n\nThe main focus of the study is to assess feasibility outcomes, including recruitment, retention, adherence to the intervention, and completion of study assessments, as well as acceptability and participant satisfaction.\n\nThe study will also explore preliminary effects of the intervention on cognitive functioning (both perceived and objective), symptoms of anxiety and depression, and quality of life. Participants will complete assessments at baseline (2 weeks after the intervention), 2 weeks after the intervention, and at 3- and 6-month follow-ups. Some participants (10-15) will also take part in interviews to provide feedback on their experience with the program.",[28,29,30,31,32],"Cancer-related Cognitive Impairment","Cancer-related Cognitive Dysfunction","Cancer-related Cognitive Difficulties","Depression and Anxiety Symptoms","Quality of Life",[34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42],"cancer","cancer survivors","cognitive rehabilitation","cognition","non-pharmacological interventions","RCT","Pilot study","crci","cancer-related cognitive impairment","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-08-07",{"date":46,"type":47},"2026-08-10","ACTUAL",{"date":49,"type":22},"2026-09",{"date":51,"type":22},"2028-05",{"name":53,"class":54},"Aveiro University","OTHER",1,{"id":57,"slug":58,"hasResults":11,"nctId":59,"briefTitle":60,"officialTitle":61,"acronym":62,"eligibilityCriteria":63,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":64,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":66,"briefSummary":69,"conditions":70,"keywords":73,"overallStatus":77,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":78,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":79,"startDateStruct":81,"completionDateStruct":83,"leadSponsor":85,"locationsCount":55},"100464865","phase-1-modafinil-to-improve-fatiguability-100464865","NCT05333250","Modafinil to Improve Fatiguability","Modafinil to Improve Fatiguability (MODIFY): Modafinil vs. Placebo Vanguard RCT","MODIFY","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. 18 years of age or older with stage III or IV cancer diagnosis\n2.
