Exercise and conventional physiotherapy are commonly used to manage chronic low back pain. SIS Therapy is a physiotherapy approach intended to reduce pain and improve movement and function.\n\nThe aim of this randomized controlled trial is to investigate the effects of SIS Therapy in individuals with chronic nonspecific low back pain and to compare these effects with conventional physiotherapy.\n\nParticipants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The SIS Therapy group will receive SIS Therapy together with a standard exercise program consisting of lumbar stabilization and stretching exercises. The conventional physiotherapy group will receive a program consisting of heat application, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), therapeutic ultrasound, and therapeutic exercise. Both groups will receive treatment twice a week for four weeks, for a total of eight sessions, and both groups will receive the same home exercise program.\n\nParticipants will be evaluated before and after the four-week treatment period. The assessments will examine changes in pain intensity, lumbar mobility, and back extensor muscle endurance.",[27],"Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain",[29,30,31,32,33,27],"Exercise Therapy","Rehabilitation","Physiotherapy","Physical Therapy","Pain","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-09-18",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-09-24","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":21},"2026-10-01",{"date":42,"type":21},"2027-04-30",{"name":44,"class":45},"Pamukkale University","OTHER",1,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":18,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":56,"phases":4,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":59,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":46},"100656414","is-central-sensitization-a-prognostic-indicator-in-chronic-nonspecific-low-back-pain-100656414","NCT07826546","Is Central Sensitization a Prognostic Indicator in Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain?","The Prognostic Role of Central Sensitization in Short-Term Clinical Outcomes in Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adults aged 18 to 65 years\n* Diagnosis of chronic nonspecific low back pain lasting for at least 3 months\n* Willingness to participate in the study\n* Ability to provide written informed consent\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Progressive neurological deficit\n* Inflammatory rheumatic disease\n* Active malignancy\n* History of serious spinal trauma or spinal surgery\n* Cognitive impairment that may prevent completion of the assessments or follow-up\n* Initiation, dose modification, or change of antidepressant or gabapentinoid treatment within the previous 3 months\n* Pregnancy, postpartum period, or breastfeeding\n* Inability to provide informed consent",{"count":55,"type":21},180,"OBSERVATIONAL","This observational study will examine whether signs of increased sensitivity in the nervous system at the beginning of the study are associated with short-term clinical outcomes in adults with chronic nonspecific low back pain. Approximately 180 participants will complete questionnaires about central sensitization, disability, pain, anxiety, and depression at the beginning of the study.\n\nAfter 6 weeks, disability, pain, and the participant's overall perception of change will be assessed again. Many people with chronic low back pain experience difficulties with balance, posture, movement control, and daily activities. Sensorimotor balance training is a rehabilitation approach designed to improve balance, body awareness, and neuromuscular control.\n\nThe purpose of this randomized controlled trial is to investigate whether sensorimotor balance training is more effective than standard physiotherapy in reducing pain and improving spinal alignment in adults with chronic nonspecific low back pain. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a sensorimotor balance training group or a standard physiotherapy group. Both groups will receive treatment three times per week for 12 weeks.\n\nPain intensity, functional disability, and spinal alignment will be assessed before and after the intervention. Spinal alignment will be measured using the DIERS Formetric 4D system, a non-invasive and radiation-free technology that evaluates posture and spinal shape. The findings of this study may help identify effective rehabilitation strategies for improving pain, function, and spinal alignment in people with chronic nonspecific low back pain.",[27],[27,90,91,92,31,30],"Sensorimotor Balance Training","Neuromuscular Control","Spinal Alignment","2026-06-24",{"date":95,"type":38},"2026-06-30",{"date":97,"type":21},"2026-07-01",{"date":99,"type":21},"2027-03-01",{"name":101,"class":45},"Najran University"]
