The main question is:\n\nDoes the use of a digital engagement platform improve person-centred care for older adults living in long-term care facilities? The study includes formal caregivers (such as nursing staff) and informal caregivers (such as volunteers, family members, and civilian service participants) who provide care and support to older adults in long-term care facilities.\n\nOne group of participants will use the digital engagement platform as part of their daily care activities. A comparison group will continue with usual care without access to the platform. Participants will take part in the study for 12 weeks and complete questionnaires at several time points. In addition, platform usage data will be collected.\n\nIn addition to person-centred care, the study will examine:\n\n* Whether the platform improves caregivers' cultural competence.\n* Whether the platform supports the collection and documentation of residents' life history information.\n* How often and how long the platform is used by caregivers.\n* Caregivers' experiences with and satisfaction with the platform. The findings may help improve digital tools that support caregivers and enhance the quality of care for older adults in long-term care settings.",[28,29,30,31,32],"Engagement","Nursing Care","Digital Application","Caregiver","Nursing Homes Residents",[34,35,36,37],"caregivers","long-term care","person-centered care","digital activity platform","RECRUITING","2026-08-18",{"date":41,"type":42},"2026-08-21","ACTUAL",{"date":44,"type":22},"2026-09",{"date":46,"type":22},"2027-04",{"name":48,"class":49},"University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria","OTHER",6,{"id":52,"slug":53,"hasResults":11,"nctId":54,"briefTitle":55,"officialTitle":56,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":57,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":18,"minAge":19,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":58,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":60,"briefSummary":61,"conditions":62,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":64,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":65,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":66,"startDateStruct":68,"completionDateStruct":70,"leadSponsor":72,"locationsCount":4},"100637513","improving-patient-engagement-in-mental-health-services-100637513","NCT07618312","Improving Patient Engagement in Mental Health Services","Improving Patient Engagement in Mental Health Services: Adaptation and Implementation of a Behavioral Activation Intervention","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age 18 years or older\n* Spanish-speaking adult who prefers to receive services in Spanish\n\nResident of a rural or frontier community in Montana or New Mexico\n\nPositive screen for depressive symptoms at or above study eligibility threshold on Spanish-language screening measure\n\nAble and willing to participate in telehealth sessions\n\nAble to provide informed consent\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Active suicidal intent requiring immediate emergency intervention\n\nCurrent psychosis or mania\n\nSevere cognitive impairment that would prevent participation\n\nCurrently receiving intensive psychiatric treatment that would conflict with the intervention\n\nUnable to participate in telehealth sessions\n\nUnable to provide informed consent",{"count":59,"type":22},100,[25],"Hybrid Type II Implementation Trial",[63,28],"Depression Disorder","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-26",{"date":67,"type":42},"2026-06-01",{"date":69,"type":22},"2027-03",{"date":71,"type":22},"2030-02",{"name":73,"class":49},"Montana State University",{"id":75,"slug":76,"hasResults":11,"nctId":77,"briefTitle":78,"officialTitle":79,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":80,"healthyVolunteers":17,"sex":18,"minAge":81,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":82,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":83,"briefSummary":84,"conditions":85,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":38,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":88,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":89,"startDateStruct":91,"completionDateStruct":93,"leadSponsor":95,"locationsCount":97},"100551674","the-impact-of-the-family-room-app-on-caregivers-100551674","NCT06463158","The Impact of the Family Room App on Caregivers","A Phase I Clinical Trial Evaluating the Impact of the Family Room App on Caregiver Well-being, Satisfaction, and Engagement in the Intensive Care Unit","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* 19 years of age or older\n* Present at participant's bedside during the intensive care unit (ICU) admission\n* Participant's legally authorized representative (LAR) or designated caregiver to make medical decisions on their behalf\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n• Not legally authorized representative (LAR) or designated caregiver to make medical decisions on their behalf","19 Years",{"count":59,"type":22},[25],"Engaging families in patient care during serious illness can enhance care quality, reduce social isolation, boost satisfaction, and lower healthcare costs. Attempts to address this have been previously made through gamification, instructional design and using different types of incentives. Overall, any type of reward, be it non-financial or monetary is better than the controls, but the latter usually produce a greater effect. It is also worth mentioning that having an affective value attached to the reward itself is also important to user retention and engagement. Given the ever-increasing interest in cryptocurrency and its current relevance, the present study - a randomized clinical trial with three arms - aims to compare cryptocurrency to non-monetary rewards regarding their effectiveness in reducing attrition and increasing engagement. In order to do this, a mental-health computerized intervention will be developed, in which the users will have to complete several modules, during which time they will be rewarded either with cryptocurrency, sweepstake rewards (e.g., vouchers), or nothing.",[139,140,28,141,142],"Transdiagnostic Psychopathology","Attrition","Depression, Anxiety","Stress",[144,145,146,147,148,149],"crypto","digital rewards","mHealth","attrition","CBT","NFT","2025-03-12",{"date":152,"type":42},"2025-03-19",{"date":154,"type":22},"2025-03-15",{"date":156,"type":22},"2025-09-01",{"name":158,"class":49},"University of Bucharest"]
