The HiRO Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy registry, biobank and imaging data repository (HiRO-HCM) is a multicenter study that will prospectively enroll patients with HCM as well as those carrying sarcomeric gene variants predisposing to HCM.\n\nThe objectives of HiRO-HCM are:\n\n1. to better understand the natural history of the disease and identify clinical markers and biomarkers for adverse outcomes;\n2. to derive and validate risk prediction models for disease expression, complications and response to therapy;\n3. to better define the genetic architecture of sarcomeric and non-sarcomeric HCM.",[25,26,27,28],"Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy","Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy","Familial Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy","Cardiomyopathies",[30,31,32,33,34,35,36],"Genetics","Echocardiography","Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging","Biomarker","Sudden cardiac death","Genome-wide association study","Risk prediction model","RECRUITING","2026-10-06",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-10-09","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":41},"2021-02-23",{"date":45,"type":20},"2035-12-31",{"name":47,"class":48},"Montreal Heart Institute","OTHER",17]
