Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) by a physician for at least 6 months.\n\nHbA1c greater than or equal to 7%. Have access to a smartphone or tablet (owned by the participant or parent\u002Fguardian).\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nUse of an insulin pump. Current use of any smartphone application for diabetes self-management.
