[{"data":1,"prerenderedAt":-1},["ShallowReactive",2],{"health-studies-list:{\"conditionNormalized\":\"individuals-who-use-violence\",\"overallStatus\":[\"RECRUITING\",\"AVAILABLE\",\"NOT_YET_RECRUITING\"],\"orderBy\":\"LastUpdateSubmitDate:desc\",\"size\":25,\"offset\":0}":3,"health-study-condition:individuals-who-use-violence":26},{"pageToken":4,"total":5,"offset":6,"count":5,"results":7},null,1,0,[8],{"id":9,"slug":10,"hasResults":11,"nctId":12,"briefTitle":13,"officialTitle":13,"acronym":14,"eligibilityCriteria":15,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":18,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":22,"briefSummary":24,"conditions":25,"keywords":28,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":33,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":34,"startDateStruct":37,"completionDateStruct":39,"leadSponsor":41,"locationsCount":44},"100650345","program-for-alleviating-relationship-trauma-and-stress-for-intimate-partner-violence---randomized-control-trial-100650345",false,"NCT07747766","Program for Alleviating Relationship Trauma and Stress for Intimate Partner Violence - Randomized Control Trial","PARTS-IPV RCT","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Must be male-identifying or prefer to be in a male-identifying group;\n* Must be a resident of Washington state;\n* Must be court-referred to a treatment program for using violence with an intimate partner;\n* Have sufficient English fluency and literacy skills to understand the consent process, procedures and questionnaires and have the ability to provide written informed consent;\n* Have access to the internet and an electronic device with adequate data capacity; to complete questionnaires online and attend online video conference groups;\n* Must be available and willing to attend at least 17 out of 20 scheduled online group sessions; and\n* Must be available and willing to complete the online computerized assessments, and phone interviews.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Insufficiently stable housing or internet connection to be able to join at least 17 group sessions;\n* Current participation in another experimental research study;\n* Expected medical hospitalization in the next six months from study enrollment period;\n* Current or expected physical incarceration (excluding house arrest or other forms of electronic monitoring) in the next six months from study enrollment period;\n* Inpatient hospitalization for mental health, substance use, suicide attempt or self-harm within past three months;\n* Inability to participate safely in the study intervention and without disrupting the group (in the opinion of principal investigator OR meeting any of the following criteria)\n* Past year history of a psychotic disorder or clinician confirmed active psychosis assessed by the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID-5);\n* Bipolar I disorder history or current severe level of mania assessed by the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID-5);\n* Acute suicidality with intent will be excluded from the study (Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 \\[SCID-5\\]);\n* High levels of Psychopathy as defined by self-report psychopathy checklist (SRP-4);\n* Self-injurious behavior in past three months will require clinical assessment prior to participation in the program;\n* Acute homicidality with plan and\u002For intent;\n* Inability to join a group without intoxication.\n* Prior experience or exposure with Internal Family Systems (e.g. IFS therapy, IFS groups or retreats, current IFS practice, etc.)","MALE","18 Years",{"count":19,"type":20},48,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[23],"NA","This research study investigates the feasibility of a randomized control trial of a group-based treatment program for reducing stress, trauma, substance use, and use of violence among individuals who were court-mandated to attend a program after committing an act(s) of domestic violence.
