The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nHow do the numerical values of Angio-IMR from five different software vendors change across three physiological states (resting, sub-hyperemia induced by nitroglycerin, and maximal hyperemia induced by adenosine)? Which physiological state and software algorithm provide the highest diagnostic accuracy (Area Under the Curve, AUC) for diagnosing Coronary Microvascular Disease (CMD) when compared to the gold standard wire-based IMR? Researchers will compare the Angio-IMR results calculated under the three different physiological conditions within the same patient to see how the hyperemic state impacts the performance and consistency of these non-invasive indices.\n\nParticipants will:\n\nUndergo standard-of-care coronary angiography and physiological assessment using a pressure wire for index of microvascular resistance (Wire-IMR) as part of their clinical management.\n\nHave their angiographic images captured at three specific time points: at rest, after intracoronary nitroglycerin, and during adenosine-induced maximal hyperemia.\n\nAllow their de-identified imaging and clinical data to be analyzed by an independent core laboratory using five different Angio-IMR software platforms to evaluate microvascular function.",[25,26],"Coronary Artery Disease","Microvascular Coronary Artery Disease",[28,29,30,31],"Coronary Physiology","Computational Fluid Dynamics","Index of Microcirculatory Resistance","Angiography-Derived Indices","RECRUITING","2026-05-21",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-05-29","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":36},"2026-05-04",{"date":40,"type":20},"2026-12-31",{"name":42,"class":43},"Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital","OTHER",2,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":51,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":55,"phases":56,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":60,"overallStatus":64,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":65,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":66,"startDateStruct":68,"completionDateStruct":70,"leadSponsor":72,"locationsCount":74},"100536826","study-comparing-two-administration-pathways-for-adenosine-during-microvascular-function-assessment-100536826","NCT06269874","Study Comparing Two Administration Pathways for Adenosine During Microvascular Function Assessment","A Single-centric, ProspectivE, Randomized Controlled Study Comparing Two Administration Pathways for Adenosine During Invasive Assessment of Microvascular Function in Patients With ANOCA.","ASPERA-ANOCA","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Chronic coronary syndrome (including patients with anginal equivalents).\n* Indication to cardiac catheterization;\n* Indication to the assessment of microvascular function (note: patients will be asked for participation and consented prior to the first measurement of microvascular function, which will be conducted as per clinical indication)\n* Willingness to participate and ability to understand, read and sign the informed consent\n* Age\\>18 years\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age \\\u003C18 years\n* Bronchial asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)\n* Secondary or tertiary atrioventricular block without prior pacemaker implantation\n* Previous CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) with patent grafts to the left anterior descending coronary\n* Epicardial coronary disease (FFR \\\u003C0.80 with evidence of a focal stenosis) in the left anterior descending territory\n* Inability to provide informed consent",{"count":54,"type":20},40,"INTERVENTIONAL",[57],"NA","The aim of this study is to investigate the agreement and reproducibility between intravenous and intracoronary adenosine administration during invasive assessment of microvascular function.\n\nGoals of this study are:\n\n1.
