Maternal satisfaction, emotional well-being, and perceptions of childbirth are strongly influenced by the quality of labor management. A woman's childbirth experience is shaped by multiple factors, including communication, autonomy, and active participation in the decision-making process. These factors are widely recognized as important indicators of the quality of maternity care. \\[1\\]\n\nRecent demographic changes and global population growth have placed increasing demands on healthcare systems, particularly maternal health services. High birth rates in some regions, combined with shortages of trained healthcare professionals, have created a need for scalable, adaptable, and innovative models of care. In response to these challenges, digital health technologies have emerged as promising tools to enhance the quality of maternity care and support both healthcare providers and pregnant women. \\[2\\]",[27],"Normal Labor",[27,29,30],"Clinical Decision-Making in Labor","Artificial Intelligence","RECRUITING","2026-07-21",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-07-22","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":35},"2026-05-06",{"date":39,"type":21},"2026-07-30",{"name":41,"class":42},"Delta University for Science and Technology","OTHER",1,{"id":45,"slug":46,"hasResults":11,"nctId":47,"briefTitle":48,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":50,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":17,"sex":52,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":55,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":60,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":63,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":64,"startDateStruct":66,"completionDateStruct":68,"leadSponsor":69,"locationsCount":43},"100579365","phase-4-comparative-analysis-of-analgesic-efficacy-by-single-shot-intrathecal-analgesia-sssa-in-normal-labor-100579365","NCT06823349","Comparative Analysis of Analgesic Efficacy: by Single Shot Intrathecal Analgesia (SSSA) in Normal Labor","Comparative Analysis of Analgesic Efficacy and Maternal Satisfaction: Single Shot Intrathecal Bupivacaine With Fentanyl Versus Bupivacaine With Dexmedetomidine in Normal Labor, Randomized Control Clinical Trial","SSSA","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* ASA I-II.\n* Uncomplicated pregnancy.\n* At term \\& singleton fetus.\n* Cervical dilatation \\> 5cm\n* Cephalic presentations\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patient refusal.\n* Bleeding disorders and patients on anticoagulant drugs.\n* Infection at site of injection.\n* Spine deformity.\n* Allergy to any of study medications.","FEMALE",{"count":54,"type":21},90,[56],"PHASE4","the goal of this randomized control trial is to compare the effect of adding fentanyl v.s dexmedetomidine to bupivacaine in single shot spinal analgesia in achievement of analgesia by decreasing visual analogue scale, onset and increasing duration of analgesia in normal labor.",[59,27],"Vaginal Delivery",[61,62],"painless normal labor","Single shot spinal analgesia in vaginal delivery","2025-07-29",{"date":65,"type":35},"2025-07-31",{"date":67,"type":35},"2025-02-01",{"date":65,"type":21},{"name":70,"class":42},"Jehan George Sadek"]
