We want to learn if new botanical blends can help reduce gum inflammation, strengthen the gum's natural barrier, and lessen dry mouth symptoms. This study will also look at how these ingredients affect the helpful bacteria in the mouth (oral microbiome) and overall oral health.

Researchers will compare different botanical blends against a control group that uses a simple mouthwash without the active ingredients to see their effects.

Participants will use a simple mouthwash daily for 14 days. This mouthwash will contain either one of two botanical ingredients, a combination of both, or no active ingredient (a control). During the study participants will complete questionnaires about their quality of life and any dry mouth symptoms at home and provide samples of saliva and fluid from their gums at different times during the study to check for changes in their oral microbiome and inflammation levels.",[27],"Oral Health Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL)",[29,30,31,32],"Gingivitis","Xerostomia","Oral Microbiome","Oral Health-Related Quality of Life","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-08-17
2026-08-19","ACTUAL
2026-09
2027-03
Access Business Group","INDUSTRY",1
"100647939","orofacial-pain-and-oral-health-related-quality-of-life-in-musicians-in-german-amateur-orchestras-100647939","NCT07714837","Orofacial Pain and Oral Health-Related Quality of Life in Musicians in German Amateur Orchestras","Orofacial Pain, Sleep-Related Problems, and Oral Health-Related Quality of Life Among Musicians in German Amateur Orchestras: A Cross-Sectional Online Survey","OSQ-MUS","Inclusion Criteria:

* Age ≥ 18 years
* Active membership in a German amateur orchestra
* Consent to study participation (given by completing the questionnaire)

Exclusion Criteria:

* Age < 18 years
* Missing / declined consent to participate
400,"OBSERVATIONAL","This cross-sectional online survey investigates the prevalence of orofacial pain, sleep-related problems, and oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) among adult musicians who play in German amateur orchestras. Participants complete a single, anonymous, approximately 10-minute questionnaire covering demographic data, orofacial pain, sleep bruxism, perceived stress, sleep quality, and the German short version of the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14). The study examines whether these outcomes differ between instrument groups (woodwind, brass, string, percussion, and other instruments). The primary hypothesis is that players of wind instruments (woodwind and brass) more frequently report orofacial pain and experience a different OHRQoL than players of other instrument groups. The study has a pilot character and aims to generate data to inform future research and targeted dental care concepts for this population.",[59,60,27],"Orofacial Pain","Sleep Bruxism",[62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69],"amateur musicians","orchestra","wind instruments","brass","woodwind","orofacial pain","sleep bruxism","oral health-related quality of life","2026-07-14
2026-07-20
2026-09-01
2026-11-01
University Medical Center Goettingen","OTHER
"100629572","oral-health-dento-facial-condition-and-ohrqol-in-subjects-with-mowat-wilson-syndrome-an-epidemiologic-study-100629572","NCT07476417","Oral Health, Dento-facial Condition and OHRQoL in Subjects With Mowat-Wilson Syndrome: an Epidemiologic Study.","ORALMOWAT26","Inclusion Criteria:

* individuals affected by MWS with confirmed molecularly diagnosis of ZEB2 gene variation.
* written informed consent statement signed by parents/legal guardians for participation in the study

Exclusion Criteria:

* individuals not affected by MWS
* refusal of parents/legal guardians to participate in the study
25,"Mowat-Wilson Syndrome (MWS) is a rare syndrome characterized by the presence of facial gestalt and delayed psychomotor development, variably associated with intellectual disability, epilepsy, Hirschsprung's disease (HSCR) and multiple congenital malformations.

Although there is evidence of the presence of dental and craniofacial anomalies in MWS, little epidemiological data is available to date.

The goal of this observational study is to assess oral health and dento-facial phenotype of people affected by Mowat-Wilson Syndrome (MWS).
