TLIP blocks are done by using anesthesia. In this case, it will be done to either side of the back where surgery will be performed. This has been shown to decrease pain the patients have post-operatively in previous research. In this study, the investigators will examine recruitment rates, completion of assessments, dropout rate, gather patient feedback, and identify barriers to performing TLIP. Further, this feasibility study will provide data to determine adequate sample size and refine methods and outcomes for a future randomized clinical trial. The ultimate goal is to perform a large, appropriately powered randomized control trial to determine the effect of TLIP blocks on pain, physical function and disability, opioid consumption, and delirium in older adult undergoing spinal fusion.",[57,30,58,59],"Delirium","Spinal Fusion","Thoracolumbar Interfascial Plane Block","2026-03-24",{"date":62,"type":35},"2026-03-27",{"date":64,"type":35},"2024-01-01",{"date":39,"type":21},{"name":67,"class":42},"University of Iowa",{"id":69,"slug":70,"hasResults":11,"nctId":71,"briefTitle":72,"officialTitle":73,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":74,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":75,"minAge":17,"maxAge":76,"enrollmentInfo":77,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":79,"briefSummary":81,"conditions":82,"keywords":87,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":101,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":102,"startDateStruct":104,"completionDateStruct":106,"leadSponsor":108,"locationsCount":43},"100575860","effects-of-reformer-pilates-in-pregnant-women-100575860","NCT06777771","Effects of Reformer Pilates in Pregnant Women","The Effects of Reformer Pilates on Pain, Functional Capacity, Lumbopelvic Stabilization, Abdominal Muscles, Respiratory Functions, Pelvic Floor Function, and Venous Insufficiency in Pregnant Women","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Single pregnancy\n* Primiparous pregnancy\n* Adult pregnant women (between 18-35 years old)\n* Pregnant women whose gestational week is 11-22 weeks\n* Pregnant women with a body mass index \\\u003C30\n* Ability to read and write\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Multiple pregnancies\n* Having a history of abdominal surgery\n* Having one of the conditions in which exercise is contraindicated, such as heart disease, severe lung disease, continuous bleeding in the second and third trimesters, placenta previa, risk of premature birth, rupture of membranes, preeclampsia, severe anemia\n* Not volunteering to participate in the study\n* Not participating in more than 90% of the training sessions","FEMALE","35 Years",{"count":78,"type":21},30,[80],"NA","Pregnancy is known as a period associated with important physiological and psychological changes in women's lives.
