This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and psychological mechanisms of \"IMPROVE,\" a manualized, multimodal group-based psychotherapy. The IMPROVE program integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies with motivational elements, mindfulness training, and socially interactive exercise. In this randomized controlled trial, 600 university students with moderate to severe PIU will be randomized to either the 8-week IMPROVE intervention or an enhanced waitlist control group. The primary outcome is the change in PIU severity, assessed by the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) score, from baseline to the post-intervention endpoint (8 weeks).",[28],"Problematic Internet Use",[30,31,32,33,34,35],"problematic internet use","digital addiction","group psychotherapy","mindfulness","cognitive-behavioral therapy","exercise","RECRUITING","2026-08-03",{"date":39,"type":40},"2026-08-05","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2026-03-17",{"date":44,"type":22},"2028-06",{"name":46,"class":47},"Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital","OTHER",{"id":49,"slug":50,"hasResults":11,"nctId":51,"briefTitle":52,"officialTitle":53,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":54,"healthyVolunteers":55,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":56,"enrollmentInfo":57,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":59,"briefSummary":60,"conditions":61,"keywords":64,"overallStatus":36,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":70,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":71,"startDateStruct":73,"completionDateStruct":75,"leadSponsor":77,"locationsCount":79},"100543863","the-impacts-of-mindfulness-on-psychological-wellbeing-among-nursing-students-100543863","NCT06361394","The Impacts of Mindfulness on Psychological Wellbeing Among Nursing Students","The Impacts of Mindfulness on Psychological Wellbeing and Nursing Competencies Among Nursing Students","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Nursing students enrolled at the participating university\n* Aged 18 years or older\n* Willing to participate in the study\n* Able to provide written informed consent\n* Enrolled in the elective course \"Mindfulness and Happiness\" for assignment to the experimental group, or not enrolled in the course for assignment to the comparison group\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Younger than 18 years\n* Unwilling or unable to provide informed consent",true,"50 Years",{"count":58,"type":22},240,[25],"The aims of this study are to develop a mindfulness-based elective course for nursing students and to evaluate its effects on psychological well-being, including mindfulness, depression, anxiety, stress, and problematic internet use, empathy, among nursing students.",[62,63,28],"Psychological Well-being","Mindfulness",[65,66,67,68,63,69],"Empathy","Stress","Anxiety","Nursing students","Problematic internet use","2026-03-16",{"date":72,"type":40},"2026-03-18",{"date":74,"type":40},"2025-02-10",{"date":76,"type":22},"2026-12-31",{"name":78,"class":47},"Chang Gung University of Science and Technology",1]
