Ability to stand without support. No history of cardiovascular disease or chronic diseases that may affect study outcomes.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nPregnancy or breastfeeding. Back injuries preventing prolonged sitting. Use of medications that may affect cardiovascular responses, including antihypertensive, antidiabetic, antidepressant, or hormonal medications.\n\nPresence of chronic diseases or cardiovascular conditions affecting vascular health.\n\n\\-",true,"FEMALE","18 Years","45 Years",{"count":20,"type":21},24,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[24],"NA","The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effects of interrupting prolonged sitting with different standing intervals on vascular health in healthy women aged 18-45 years. The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nDoes interrupting prolonged sitting with short standing intervals (10 minutes every hour) improve blood pressure and pulse wave velocity more than prolonged continuous standing intervals (30 minutes every hour)? Does interrupting prolonged sitting with prolonged intermittent standing intervals (30 minutes every hour divided into three 10-minute standing bouts) improve blood pressure and pulse wave velocity more than prolonged continuous standing intervals (30 minutes every hour)?\n\nThe researcher will compare three different sitting interruption conditions to evaluate their effects on vascular health outcomes:\n\nStanding for 10 minutes every hour. Continuous standing for 30 minutes every hour. Intermittent standing for 30 minutes every hour divided into three 10-minute standing bouts.\n\nParticipants will:\n\nAttend three experimental sessions in random order separated by at least 7 days.\n\nComplete 3 hours of sitting with different standing interruption protocols. Undergo measurements of blood pressure, pulse wave velocity, and heart rate before sitting and after each hour of the experiment.\n\nUndergo height, weight, and body mass index measurements.",[27,28,29],"Prolonged Sitting","Vascular Health","Sedentary Behavior","RECRUITING","2026-08-31",{"date":33,"type":34},"2026-09-03","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":34},"2026-04-02",{"date":38,"type":21},"2026-10-10",{"name":40,"class":41},"King Saud University","OTHER"]
