The sample size, determined via G\\*Power analysis (including a 20% anticipated drop-out rate), comprises a total of 100 volunteer students, divided into an intervention group (n = 50) and a control group (n = 50).The intervention group will participate in a structured program held twice weekly for 1 month (totaling 8 sessions, 60-90 minutes each) in the VSHS garden, encompassing soil preparation, paired seedling planting, group-oriented maintenance, and landscaping activities. The control group will maintain their routine campus life.Data will be collected using a Personal Information Form, the Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale (Coping with Stress), the University Life Scale (Peer Relations Subscale), and the Connectedness to Nature Scale. The data will be evaluated through homogeneity tests and parametric\u002Fnon-parametric comparative analyses (t-tests, Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney U).Contingency plans (Plan B)-such as indoor potted plant\u002Fterrarium workshops and buffer sample recruitment-are established to address adverse weather conditions, sample attrition, and seasonal risks.",[28,29,30],"Psychosocial Wellbeing","Perceived Stress","Peer Interaction in University Students",[32,33,29,34,35,36,37],"Gardening Activities","Horticultural Therapy","Peer Interaction","Nature Engagement","University Students","Quasi-Experimental Study","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-08-12",{"date":41,"type":42},"2026-08-14","ACTUAL",{"date":44,"type":22},"2026-09-01",{"date":46,"type":22},"2027-01-01",{"name":48,"class":49},"Ataturk University","OTHER",{"id":51,"slug":52,"hasResults":11,"nctId":53,"briefTitle":54,"officialTitle":55,"acronym":56,"eligibilityCriteria":57,"healthyVolunteers":58,"sex":59,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":60,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":62,"briefSummary":63,"conditions":64,"keywords":67,"overallStatus":38,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":72,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":73,"startDateStruct":75,"completionDateStruct":77,"leadSponsor":79,"locationsCount":81},"100650355","advancing-female-university-students-health-through-mobile-technology-in-ethiopia-100650355","NCT07746791","Advancing Female University Students' Health Through Mobile Technology in Ethiopia","Advancing Female University Students Sexual and Reproductive Health, Nutrition, and Psychosocial Well-being Through Mobile Technology Interventions in Ethiopia","EMPOWER","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Regular undergraduate female university student will be included in the study.\n* First year female students will be included in the study.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n• Students who have no mobile phone will be excluded from the study.",true,"FEMALE",{"count":61,"type":22},880,[25],"Background: Female university students in Ethiopia experience a high burden of sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, and psychosocial problems, exacerbated by limited access to essential health services and support. Mobile technology provides an opportunity to deliver accessible, evidence-based health interventions.\n\nObjective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a mobile technology-based intervention in improving SRH, nutrition, and psychosocial well-being among female university students in Ethiopia.\n\nMethods: A concurrent mixed-methods study will be conducted among first-year female university students. Baseline quantitative and qualitative assessments will identify needs, barriers, and facilitators. A randomized controlled trial will evaluate a comprehensive mobile health education intervention delivered monthly. Quantitative data will be analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data will undergo thematic analysis.\n\nExpected Outcomes: Improved sexual and reproductive health, dietary practices, and psychosocial well-being among female university students.\n\nDuration and Budget: The project will be implemented over the proposed study period with a total budget of 1,208,564 Ethiopian birr.",[65,66,28],"Dietary Intake","Sexual and Reproductive Health",[68,69,70,71],"Dietary intake","SRH","Ethiopia","Psychosocial wellbeing","2026-08-08",{"date":74,"type":42},"2026-08-11",{"date":76,"type":22},"2026-08-01",{"date":78,"type":22},"2028-06-30",{"name":80,"class":49},"Bahir Dar University",1]
