Six schools will be randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to either the intervention group or the control group; the intervention group will simultaneously implement the \"Youth Strengths \\& Skills Curriculum (YSSC)\" curriculum for students, \"Life Gatekeeper\" training for teachers, and mental health information dissemination for caregivers. The primary objectives are to evaluate recruitment, retention, adherence, implementation fidelity, acceptability, and safety within real-world school settings, and to preliminarily estimate changes in indicators such as suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, loneliness, help-seeking attitudes, mental health stigma, self-esteem, school climate, and bullying. The findings will provide parameters and an implementation basis for a subsequent large-scale, multi-school cluster randomized controlled trial.",[26,27,28,29],"Suicide","Suicide Awareness","Mental Health","Suicide Prevention","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-07-20",{"date":33,"type":34},"2026-07-23","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":20},"2026-08",{"date":38,"type":20},"2027-07",{"name":40,"class":41},"Brown University","OTHER",1,{"id":44,"slug":45,"hasResults":11,"nctId":46,"briefTitle":47,"officialTitle":48,"acronym":49,"eligibilityCriteria":50,"healthyVolunteers":15,"sex":51,"minAge":52,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":55,"briefSummary":56,"conditions":57,"keywords":61,"overallStatus":30,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":4},"100639122","conscious-a-pilot-trial-of-a-media-orientation-intervention-to-encourage-mens-help-seeking-for-mental-health-difficulties-100639122","NCT07627451","CONSCIOUS: A Pilot Trial of a Media Orientation Intervention to Encourage Men's Help Seeking for Mental Health Difficulties","Media Orientation to Prevent Suicidal Ideation and Self Harm and Improve Help Seeking Behaviour: A Pilot Randomised Controlled Trial","CONSCIOUS","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* male, aged 18 years or above, able to provide full informed consent to aid their participation, able to speak the English language which is Nigeria language. able to take part in the intervention and are available for the intervention assessment at baseline and end of intervention.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* less than 18 years old, unable to provide informed consent, undergoing severe mental health treatment and unable to speak the English language.
