All eligible cases within specified parameters will be included in the clinical study scope. Based on real-world clinical data, we will proactively collect postoperative clinical examination findings and imaging data. After transplantation, how to manage the "tooth nerve" (dental pulp) inside the tooth is a key question. Currently, doctors have three different management strategies, but it is not clear which one is most beneficial for long-term success.

This study will compare these three strategies:

Performing standard root canal treatment (removing the tooth nerve) a few weeks after transplantation.

Performing a special procedure to treat and fill the root tip during the transplant surgery, followed by root canal treatment later.

Simply trimming the root tip during the transplant surgery, hoping to preserve the vitality of the tooth nerve and thereby avoid subsequent root canal treatment.

If you agree to participate, you will be randomly assigned to one of these groups to receive treatment. Afterwards, we will need to schedule regular check-ups for you over a period of 5 years (including X-rays and examinations) to monitor the healing of the transplanted tooth, check for any problems, and assess the status of the tooth nerve.

Your participation will help us identify the most effective and long-lasting treatment method, thereby benefiting future patients in similar situations.",[58,59,29],"Tooth Avulsion","Dental Pulp Diseases",[61,62,63,64,65,66],"Autotransplantation","Third molar","Root canal therapy","Apical surgery","Root-end resection","mature tooth","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-12-07
2025-12-18
2026-01
2032-06
Second Affiliated Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University
"100575923","comparison-of-piezoelectric-and-conventional-surgery-for-germectomy-of-the-lower-third-molar-100575923","NCT06778590","Comparison of Piezoelectric and Conventional Surgery for Germectomy of the Lower Third Molar","Comparison of Piezoelectric and Conventional Surgery for Germectomy of the Lower Third Molar: Assessment of Post-operative Sequelae","Germectomy","Inclusion Criteria:

* Patients aged between 14 and 24 years, with both lower third molars in the developmental stage (with incompletely formed roots) and requiring extraction of both for prophylactic, therapeutic or strategic reasons
* Good quality of radiographic investigations (CBCT)
* Good health status","14 Years","24 Years
22,[24],"The main objective of the study is to compare the effects of the piezoelectric surgery and the traditional technique on soft tissue edema in patients undergoing bilateral germectomy of mandibular third molars",[92,93,94,95,58,96,83],"Tooth Disease","Piezoelectric Technique","Tooth Impacted","Tooth Extraction Status Nos","Facial Swelling",[98,99,100,101,102,103,104],"third molar surgery","facial swelling","3D facial swelling evaluation","Piezoelectric technique","tooth impacted","piezosurgery","germectomy","2025-01-15
2025-01-16
"2025-10-31
Amerigo Giudice
"100560233","impacted-canine-and-mixed-reality-technology---rct-100560233","NCT06574477","Impacted Canine and Mixed-reality Technology - RCT","Alignment of an Impacted Canine Using Mixed-reality HoloLens 2 Goggles - a Randomized Clinical Trial","Inclusion Criteria:

* Healthy boys/men and girls/women aged between 10 and 20 years.
* Palatally impacted canine on one side
* Axis of the canine \\> 10 degrees to the midline as measured on a pantomographic radiograph
* During orthodontic treatment, in preparation for alignment of the impacted canine with adequate space for the retained canine

Exclusion Criteria:

* Dental abnormalities (hyperodontia, hypodontia, etc.)
* Impacted canines bilaterally
* Previous trauma to the teeth or face
* Congenital craniofacial malformations
* Systemic diseases that would hinder orthodontic treatment/operation
* Recent radiotherapy","10 Years","20 Years
72,[24],"The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether the use of HoloLens 2 mixed reality goggles for planning alignment of palatally impacted canine reduces: 1) treatment time and 2) the risk of complications compared to planning alignment of palatally impacted canine without HoloLens 2 goggles.

Participants will have an impacted canine on palatal side.

Researchers will use or will not use HoloLens 2 goggles in planning therapy

Participants will wear fixed orthodontic appliances for the treatment of impacted canine.
