It will also evaluate the safety of Neurolytic Splanchnic Nerve Block (NSNB). The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nDoes NSNB reduce pain intensity compared to Neurolytic Coeliac Plexus Block (NCPB), as measured by the Visual Analog Scale (VAS)? What adverse effects do participants experience when receiving Neurolytic Splanchnic Nerve Block (NSNB)?\n\nInvestigators will compare Neurolytic Splanchnic Nerve Block (NSNB) with Neurolytic Coeliac Plexus Block (NCPB) to determine which intervention provides more effective and safer pain relief.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* receive either NSNB or NCPB under fluoroscopic guidance\n* be monitored immediately and for 2 hours after the procedure for any complications Have their pain intensity recorded immediately after the procedure, and at 7 days, 1 month, and 3 months\n* be evaluated for quality-of-life using European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire - Core 3 (EORTC QLQ-C30) at 1 month and 3 months.\n* have their opioid consumption tracked throughout the study.",[26],"Upper Abdominal Malignancies",[28,29,30,31],"Upper abdominal cancer","Splanchnic nerve block","Coeliac plexus block","Analgesic efficacy","RECRUITING","2026-09-02",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-09-04","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":36},"2026-05-01",{"date":40,"type":20},"2027-01-31",{"name":42,"class":43},"Bangladesh Medical University","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":54,"briefSummary":55,"conditions":56,"keywords":57,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":60,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":61,"startDateStruct":63,"completionDateStruct":65,"leadSponsor":67,"locationsCount":44},"100543440","liver-volume-variation-effect-on-sbrt-planning-and-delivery-for-upper-abdominal-malignancies-100543440","NCT06355895","Liver Volume Variation Effect on SBRT Planning and Delivery for Upper Abdominal Malignancies","The Effect of Liver Volume Variation on Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Planning and Delivery for Upper Abdominal Malignancies","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n• Have primary upper abdominal (pancreatic, bile duct, liver) cancer or upper abdominal metastases (liver, adrenal, upper abdominal lymph nodes) planned to undergo SBRT.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Had prior Radiation Therapy to the liver\n* Contraindication to receipt of iodinated IV contrast for CT (such as renal insufficiency or allergy that cannot be overcome by premedication)\n* Pregnancy\u002Flactation OR woman of childbearing potential who is unable or unwilling to use adequate contraception during Radiation Therapy.\n* Inability to fast.",{"count":53,"type":20},17,[23],"Standard planning constraints for liver SBRT incorporate strict dose-volume limits for normal liver parenchyma to minimize the risk of radiation-induced liver disease.
