About this trial

The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of pre-meal supplementation with SugarLock® peanut skin extract and white kidney bean extract on reducing or delaying postprandial blood glucose elevation and glycemic fluctuations, and to evaluate their potential as nutritional supplements for postprandial glycemic management.

Eligibility criteria

Qualifiers

Adults aged 18 years or older;

Fasting blood glucose level < 100 mg/dL;

Individuals without type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Disqualifiers

Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study period;

Individuals with chronic gastrointestinal diseases (such as irritable bowel syndrome [IBS], inflammatory bowel disease [IBD], chronic diarrhea, celiac disease, short bowel syndrome, ulcers, colorectal cancer, etc.), a history of epilepsy or seizures, psychiatric disorders, malignant tumors, endocrine disorders, liver or kidney disease, or other major organic diseases;

Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal surgery or organ transplantation;

Individuals who have taken medications or supplements affecting blood glucose or insulin within the past three months;
