About this trial
This interventional study aims to investigate the acute effects of three different exercise modalities-aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT)-on irisin, leptin, and ghrelin levels in sedentary women. A total of 20 sedentary women will participate in the study. Hormonal responses will be evaluated in relation to the exercise sessions to determine exercise-induced changes in irisin, leptin, and ghrelin and to compare the responses associated with the three exercise modalities.

Treatments tested in this trial
Aerobic Exercise
BehavioralParticipants will complete an aerobic exercise session as one of the three exercise conditions. Irisin, leptin, and ghrelin levels will be assessed in relation to the exercise session to determine the acute hormonal response to aerobic exercise.
Anaerobic Exercise
BehavioralParticipants will complete an anaerobic exercise session as one of the three exercise conditions. Irisin, leptin, and ghrelin levels will be assessed in relation to the exercise session to determine the acute hormonal response to anaerobic exercise.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
BehavioralParticipants will complete a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session as one of the three exercise conditions. Irisin, leptin, and ghrelin levels will be assessed in relation to the exercise session to determine the acute hormonal response to HIIT.

Trial outcomes
Primary outcomes
Change in Irisin Level
Irisin levels will be assessed in relation to each exercise condition to determine the change in circulating irisin levels associated with aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT)
Change in Leptin Level
Leptin levels will be assessed in relation to each exercise condition to determine the change in circulating leptin levels associated with aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
Change in Ghrelin Level
Ghrelin levels will be assessed in relation to each exercise condition to determine the change in circulating ghrelin levels associated with aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
