About this trial
The aim of this study is to examine paraspinal muscle activity, body surface topography, posture, and radiographic characteristics in adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis. Adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis who use a brace and those who do not will be compared with healthy individuals. Paraspinal muscle activity will be assessed using surface electromyography (sEMG), surface topography using the Artec Eva 3D scanner, postural characteristics using postural analysis, and spinal curvature using the Cobb angle measurement based on existing radiographs. Quality of life will be assessed using the SRS-22 questionnaire.

Trial outcomes
Primary outcomes
Paraspinal Muscle Activity
Paraspinal muscle activity will be assessed using surfaces electromyography (sEMG) in adolescents with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and healthy controls.
Secondary outcomes
Surface Topography
Surface topography will be assessed to evaluate trunk surface characteristics in adolescents with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and healthy controls.
Radiographic Parameters
Radiographic parameters will be evaluated to assess spinal alignment in adolescents with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
