Breast Feeding, Exclusive

The purpose of this study is to increase the rate of exclusive breastfeeding at 6 weeks postpartum in the Inland Empire by addressing inadequate antenatal breastfeeding education for patients.

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare two different forms of postnatal care to find out which is most beneficial for mothers and their children after birth and with which they are most satisfied. One is a nurse-led, seperate model of care and the other is a midwife-led, integrative model of care. Participants are healthy women between the ages of 18 and 50. They gave birth between 36+0 and 42+0 weeks of pregnancy and had a child. The type of birth is not an inclusion or exclusion criteria. Our hypotheses are: i) that maternal satisfaction with care in a midwife-led, integrative care model is higher than in separate maternal and infant care; ii) that a positive postpartum experience leads to earlier and increased maternity competence; iii) that a higher breastfeeding rate at the time of the survey in the fourth month can be achieved through integrative care. Participants will be randomly assigned, after birth of their child, to either the group cared for by a nurse or the group cared for by a midwife.

The study will be carried out as a prospective randomized controlled clinical study to determine the effect of tactile/kinesthetic stimulus program on preterm infants on transition time to full sucking, sucking success and hospital stay.

Breastfeeding is the gold standard in infant nutrition in the first 12 months of life (1). Breastfeeding self-efficacy perception is one of the most important factors affecting mothers\' breastfeeding duration and success in the postpartum period (2,3).Although AI has traditionally been the domain of powerful mainframes and data centers, new approaches have the capacity to put the power of AI directly into the hands of patients (4).Therefore, considering the importance of breastfeeding education and counseling, this study will determine the effect of training and use of a mobile application-supported artificial intelligence tool and nurse-led online breastfeeding counseling on mothers; breastfeeding self-efficacy perception, breastfeeding success, infant feeding attitude and postpartum depression levels. Thus, the effectiveness of the artificial intelligence tool and nurse-led breastfeeding counseling will be compared.
