Changes in Person-reported Outcomes and Behavior Using the Accu-Chek SmartGuide CGM and Predict App

The goal of this controlled pre-post-trial is to test the Accu-Chek SmartGuide continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system and whether its predictive features provide additional benefits for adults with type 1 diabetes or insulin- treated type 2 diabetes. The main questions this study aims to answer are: * Does using the Accu-Chek SmartGuide together with the Predict App change participants' fear of hypoglycemia? * Does the Predict App affect other psychological and behavioral outcomes, such as sleep quality, confidence in preventing hypoglycemia, diabetes- related distress, and diabetes empowerment? * Does the use of the predictive features affect glucose levels and the way participants use and respond to CGM alarms and trend information? Participants will use the Accu-Chek SmartGuide for 6 weeks. During the first 2 weeks, participants will use the CGM system without the predictive features. During the following 4 weeks, participants will use the system together with the Accu-Chek SmartGuide Predict App. Participants will complete online questionnaires at two time points (after 2 and after 6 weeks) and answer short questions twice a day through a smartphone app during the first 2 weeks and the last 2 weeks of the study. CGM data will be collected throughout the study. A subgroup of 10 participants will also be invited to take part in an online interview about their experiences with the predictive features.

PMCF Study of GX-01S CGM in Adults With Diabetes

This clinical study evaluates the GX-01S Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System in adults with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. CGM systems measure glucose levels continuously throughout the day, providing real-time information that can help patients manage their diabetes more effectively. The study aims to determine whether using the GX-01S CGM System improves glycemic control, as measured by Time in Range (the percentage of time glucose levels stay within a target range). It will also assess safety, treatment satisfaction, quality of life, and ease of use of the device. Participants will wear the GX-01S CGM System for approximately 135 days (about 4.5 months). The first 15 days will be a "blinded" period where participants cannot see their glucose readings, which will be used to establish a baseline. For the remaining 120 days, participants will have full access to their real-time glucose data. Participants will visit the study site at the beginning, Day 15, Day 45, and Day 135 for assessments and questionnaires. The study will enroll 100 adult patients across multiple centers in Europe. Enrollment is expected to begin in September 2026.

A Prospective Randomnised Controlled Trial Comparing Overall Patient Compliance in a Bariatric Surgical Pathway Using the Standard Versus a More Intensified and Interactive Version of the "Get Ready" Smartphone Application.

The aim of this study is to assess the impact of a newly intensified digital platform following bariatric surgery. This will be measured using several questionnaires. The following objectives will be evaluated: the exact amount of weight loss achieved preoperatively with the preparatory diet; the occurrence of dumping symptoms; the assessment of quality of life (QOL); and compliance with supplement intake. By examining the impact of an enhanced digital platform, we aim to address critical questions regarding the effectiveness of improved patient support in the digital domain. Moreover, given the increasing prevalence of bariatric surgery as a therapeutic option for obesity, it is of utmost importance to identify strategies to optimize patient education and support through digital tools. This study not only contributes to the scientific understanding of digital support in bariatric care but also has important implications for the further development of the "Get Ready" application, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of providing comprehensive and patient-centered support in the evolving landscape of bariatric surgery.
