A Study to Evaluate ENERGI-F703EB Cream in Epidermolysis Bullosa

This is a phase II, intra-subject randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled, parallel, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of ENERGI-F703EB Cream in subjects who are ≥ 18 years old with epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS), junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB), or dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB). In total, approximately 24 subjects will be enrolled from multiple sites in Taiwan. The study duration per subject is approximately 16 weeks; which includes a 2 to 4-week period between Visit 1 and Visit 2 for screening, an 8-week period from Visit 2 to Visit 7 for treatment, and a 4-week period from Visit 7 to Visit 9 for safety follow-up.

Emerging Indications for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment

This study will evaluate the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) on treating emerging indications (i.e., conditions that have shown to potentially benefit from HBOT) using the Multicenter Registry for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. The study team aims to collect ongoing data on how well HBOT treats these emerging indications, and to add these data to the growing HBO Registry. The research team hypothesizes that HBOT will result in improvements of the condition of the various emerging indications.

Efficacy and Safety Study to Evaluate SD-101 in Epidermolysis Bullosa

The upcoming trial is for EB patients is a topically applied whole-body treatment of patients with either Simplex, RDEB or Junctional (nH) ages 1 month to 12 years old at study entry. There are only 4 site visits by patients with minimal assessments over a 2-month period, and patients completing this study will have the ability to continue receiving SD-101-6.0 at home in an open-label extension study. The drug product and placebo require no special preparation or storage conditions (room temperature).

Impact of Body Positioning on EndoFLIP Measurements: A Comparative Study of Supine and Left Lateral Decubitus Positions

This is a prospective, single-center, crossover study comparing EndoFLIP measurements obtained in two patient positions, supine and left lateral decubitus, in pediatric and young adult patients. The Endoluminal Functional Lumen Imaging Probe (EndoFLIP) is an FDA-approved device for patients aged 5 and older that utilizes high-resolution impedance planimetry and volume-controlled distension to assess esophagogastric junction function. Currently, no standardized positioning protocol exists, and proceduralists perform EndoFLIP based on individual preference, either supine or left lateral decubitus. This variability may introduce measurement inconsistencies, particularly when comparing preoperative and postoperative assessments performed in different positions.

A Phase 2 Study of TCP-25 Gel in Patients With Epidermolysis Bullosa, STEP-study

This is a Phase 2, double-blind, randomized, vehicle-controlled study designed to evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of topically applied TCP-25 gel in patients with confirmed DEB or JEB. The study will implement intrasubject randomization, ie, a pair of matching index wounds will be randomly assigned to be treated with a local application of either TCP 25 gel or vehicle gel.

Phase 4 Master Protocol for Patients Prescribed Prademagene Zamikeracel for the Treatment of Wounds

The Master Protocol includes 3 studies (Study A, Study B, and Study C) that will evaluate pz-cel and related processes in the post-marketing setting. Study A investigates the efficacy and safety of non-conforming pz-cel in patients with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). Study B enables the collection of additional biopsy samples from patients receiving treatment with pz-cel. Study C assesses the efficacy and safety of pz-cel in patient populations not represented in the VIITAL clinical trial (NCT04227106).

Targeting Collagen VII Antibodies in Bullous Diseases Using Efgartigimod IV (VYVGART)

The study objective is to see if IV Efgartigimod and Vyjuvek treatment in Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB) and IV Efgartigimod treatment in Epidermolysis Bullosa Acquisita (EBA) improves wound healing and affects the levels of C7 antibody levels in serum. Fewer wounds, more rapidly healing wounds, and decreased C7 antibodies could improve quality of life.
