The goal of this comparative cross-sectional study is to learn about the effects of gestational diabetes on lumbopelvic stability in primigravida subjects. The main question it aims to answer is: Does gestational diabetes effect lumbopelvic stability during pregnancy?

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a growing maternal health concern associated with adverse neonatal outcomes such as macrosomia and shoulder dystocia, often aggravated by poor dietary habits and physical inactivity during pregnancy. This randomized controlled study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of structured nursing interventions focusing on diet and physical activity in improving maternal glycemic control and reducing neonatal complications. A total of 66 pregnant women diagnosed with GDM will be selected through purposive sampling and randomly allocated into intervention and control groups using the lottery method. The intervention group will receive individualized dietary counselling, pregnancy-appropriate physical activity guidance, and regular nursing follow-up, while the control group will continue with routine antenatal care. Maternal outcomes, including fasting blood glucose and HbA1c levels, will be measured at baseline and follow-up visits. Neonatal outcomes such as macrosomia, mode of delivery, and shoulder dystocia will be documented at birth. Data will be collected using structured tools and analysed using SPSS, with independent t-tests and chi-square tests applied. The study anticipates that structured nursing interventions will significantly improve glycaemic control and reduce adverse neonatal outcomes, supporting the integration of evidence-based nursing care into routine GDM management.

Develop subtype-specific, end-to-end standards for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum phases. This study wants to find out if using an injection port to give insulin during pregnancy helps people take their insulin more regularly and feel better about their care. When someone has diabetes during pregnancy, it's very important to keep their blood sugar levels in a healthy range. This usually means checking blood sugar often and giving insulin through shots. But giving many shots each day can be hard and uncomfortable. An injection port is a small device placed on the skin that lets patients give insulin through the same spot without poking themselves each time. This may make taking insulin easier and less painful. Feeling comfortable with how insulin is given may help people stick to their treatment plan and have better health during pregnancy. Injection ports have already helped other patients, including pregnant people who needed other medications, but they haven't been studied for insulin use during pregnancy. This study will look at how pregnant patients with diabetes feel about using injection ports for insulin.

This study proposes a prospective randomized controlled clinical trial involving primiparous women diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) carrying singleton pregnancies. Participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio into either a control group or an intervention group. The control group will receive standard prenatal care followed by routine postpartum breastfeeding guidance. In addition to the standard care provided to the control group, the intervention group will receive one-on-one midwife-led manual breast milk expression training at the breastfeeding clinic. They will begin manual expression twice daily starting at 37 weeks gestation. The primary outcome will compare exclusive breastfeeding rates at 3 months postpartum between groups through postpartum follow-up assessments to evaluate the impact of antenatal milk expression on breastfeeding success in GDM patients.
