Affordable, Tailored Therapy for Financially Vulnerable People With Trauma-related Injuries

Financially vulnerable people experience higher rates of trauma-related injuries and often face barriers to accessing physical therapy services. Current rehabilitation services may not sufficiently align with the circumstances and needs of this population. This qualitative study aims to develop a conceptual understanding of the needs of financially vulnerable adults with trauma-related injuries regarding physical therapy treatment. Using a constructivist grounded theory approach, data will be collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observations, and supplementary qualitative materials. Findings will support the development of more accessible, tailored, and person-centered physical therapy services.

Comparison of RTS and MGAP Scores in Predicting Outcomes of Trauma Patients

The goal of this prospective cohort study is to compare the predictive accuracy of the Revised Trauma Score (RTS) and the MGAP score in determining clinical outcomes among multiple trauma patients hospitalized at a trauma center in Iraq. The main questions it aims to answer are: Which score, RTS or MGAP, provides a more accurate prediction of clinical outcomes, including mortality? Are there specific subgroups of trauma patients where one scoring system outperforms the other? Participants will: Be assessed using both the RTS and MGAP scores upon admission. Have their clinical outcomes, including mortality and other relevant indicators, monitored throughout their hospital stay.

Collecting the Results of Multiple Trauma Patients and Find the Correlation of Morality and Mobility

Collect data about physiological examination values, blood test values and radiological examination results of patients admitted to the hospital for major trauma. There are different causes of mortality in multiple trauma patients. In this study, review the multiple symptoms and parameters of major trauma patients. We hope to understand and develop one feasible assessment model for emergency departments for enable rapid diagnosis and treatment evaluation about major trauma patients occurrence.
