Pelvic Fractures

The goal of this observational study is to learn about the incidence and predators of hemorrhagic shock in patients with Long bone and pelvic fractures .The main question it aims to answer is: In which bone fracture the prediction and detection of hemorrhagic shock should be in consideration for emergency management in polytrauma patients

Fragility fractures of the pelvic ring are a common injury associated with poor patient outcomes and high healthcare costs. Management of these injuries is evolving with increasing frequency of operative stabilization of the pelvic ring, despite a lack of evidence supporting operative versus nonoperative treatment. This multicenter prospective cohort study will evaluate 120 patients to determine the feasibility of a randomized controlled trial comparing operative and nonoperative treatment, by evaluating patient willingness to enroll in a trial, surgeon willingness to randomize their patients' treatment, and the completeness of data collection.

The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to compare between the effect of immediate weight bearing (WB) versus delayed weight bearing in improving function, pain, gait, quality of reduction radiologically, muscle strength, and quality of life outcomes in individuals who underwent specific pelvic fixation surgeries.
