Retrospective Cohort Study of Symptoms and Quality of Life in Women With Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause.

The goal of this clinical trial is to retrospectively identify the most prevalent symptoms of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) among postmenopausal women and to evaluate their impact on quality of life. Moreover, based on data collected from medical records and/or patient-reported questionnaires, if available data enable it, it will be assessed whether treatment with the topical vulvovaginal gel XCM INTIM for a minimum of 8 weeks results in changes in symptom severity and in the impact of these symptoms across different quality-of-life domains.

F-GYN for Vaginal Dryness and Vulvovaginal Atrophy

This clinical study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of F-GYN, a sterile injectable medical device containing non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, in adult women with moderate to severe vaginal dryness and symptoms related to vaginal and vestibular atrophy. Vaginal dryness and atrophic changes may cause discomfort, itching, burning, pain during sexual intercourse, reduced lubrication, and lower quality of life. Standard non-hormonal products, such as lubricants and moisturizers, may not provide sufficient relief for all women, and hormonal therapies may be unsuitable or unacceptable for some patients. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Participants in the study group will receive one F-GYN injection at the baseline visit. Participants in the control group will continue standard non-hormonal symptomatic care for 4 weeks and will then receive one F-GYN injection after all planned 4-week assessments have been completed. This allows F-GYN to be compared with standard non-hormonal care during the initial 4-week comparison period. The injection will be administered by a qualified gynecologist into the vaginal and vestibular tissue. Local anesthesia may be used according to the standard practice of the study site. The main purpose of the study is to determine whether F-GYN improves vaginal health, assessed by the Vaginal Health Index, after 4 weeks compared with standard non-hormonal symptomatic care without injection. The study will also assess vaginal dryness, itching, burning, pain during sexual intercourse, quality of life, sexual comfort, treatment satisfaction, global improvement, and safety. Participants will attend study visits and will also complete telephone follow-up questionnaires up to 6 months after the injection.

VEDA Study (DHEA vs Estradiol)

This study is being done to compare two vaginal treatments, vaginal estrogen and vaginal DHEA, that are used to treat vaginal and urinary symptoms related to menopause. These symptoms may include vaginal dryness, discomfort, painful intercourse, or urinary problems and can affect quality of life and sexual health. Women who choose to participate will be randomly assigned to use one of the two treatments for a set period of time. Participants will complete questionnaires about their symptoms and sexual health and have simple vaginal testing at the beginning and end of the study. The goal of this research is to better understand how these treatments affect vaginal health and sexual function so healthcare providers can make informed treatment decisions and improve care for postmenopausal women.

Changes in the Impact of Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause With a Novel Nonhormonal Vulvovaginal Gel Assessed by PROMs.

The goal of this clinical trial is to improve the management of Genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) to preliminary assess safety and effectivity of a novel hormone-free mucosa composition (XCMIM20m) applied topically to the vulvovaginal area. Symptoms of vaginal atrophy will be compared before and after 8 weeks of use of the tested gel with the Day-to-Day Impact of Vaginal Aging (DIVA) PROMs questionnaire to assess changes impact of GSM symptoms.

Efficacy and Safety of Vaginal Radiofrequency for Vulvovaginal Atrophy in Breast Cancer Patients

This Phase III, randomized, balanced, parallel-group, multicenter trial aims to evaluate the effect of vaginal radiofrequency on symptoms of vaginal dryness at six months. The study compares vaginal radiofrequency treatment with non-hormonal hydration therapy in a population of patients undergoing adjuvant hormonal therapy with aromatase inhibitors, with or without LHRH agonists, for breast cancer. Patients will be randomly assigned to one of two parallel treatment groups until the six-month assessment: The first group will receive the reference treatment, which consists of local hydration using a hyaluronic acid-based treatment applied three times a week. Additionally, investigators may incorporate supportive measures at their discretion, such as physiotherapy or vaginal dilators. The second group will receive the same reference treatment combined with vaginal radiofrequency therapy. This intervention consists of three sessions, each spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
