The Effectiveness of an Occupation-Based Lifestyle Program in Individuals With Type 2 Diabetes

This study aims to investigate the effect of an occupation-focused lifestyle program on occupational performance, self-management, occupational balance, diabetes symptoms, and quality of life in individuals with Type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes requires continuous daily management, yet conventional interventions often show limited long-term behavioral sustainability. Occupation-focused lifestyle interventions offer a holistic approach by addressing daily routines, self-management skills, and personal goals. In this non-invasive, quasi-experimental study, participants aged 18-74 with Type 2 diabetes will be invited via social media announcements. Participants will be divided into an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group will receive an online, 5-module (8 sessions) Occupation-Focused Lifestyle Program via Zoom, covering diabetes awareness, problem-solving, stress management (mindfulness), energy conservation/physical activity, and goal review. The control group will receive an informative brochure after the intervention group completes the program. Outcomes will be measured online before and after the program using structured scales to evaluate changes in daily functioning, self-care, and overall well-being

Online Feeding Education for Fathers of Children With Feeding Problems

This pilot study aims to investigate the effects of a four-week online feeding awareness training program for fathers of typically developing children aged 3-6 years. The study will examine changes in fathers' parental self-efficacy and feeding attitudes, as well as their children's eating and mealtime behaviors. The main research question is whether an online awareness training program for fathers can improve parental self-efficacy and feeding attitudes and contribute to positive changes in children's eating behaviors. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline, immediately after the intervention, and at a four-week follow-up.

Meleis' Transition Theory-Based Education and Counseling Program in Menopausal Women

This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a Meleis' Transition Theory-based education and counseling program on menopausal symptoms, perimenopausal depression, and menopause-specific quality of life among naturally menopausal women aged 45 to 55 years. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group or the control group. The intervention group will receive a structured four-week education and counseling program based on Meleis' Transition Theory, supported by a secure online messaging group and follow-up counseling sessions. The control group will receive routine care and standard information during the study period and will be offered a one-day educational session after completion of the final assessment. The outcomes will be measured at baseline and Week 16 using the Menopause Rating Scale, the Perimenopausal Depression Scale, and the Menopause-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire-II.

"Effect of LEGO® Serious Play® Trauma-Informed Care Training on Nursing Students

Hospitalization can have traumatic effects on children and their families, highlighting the importance of trauma-informed care in pediatric nursing. Post-hospitalization trauma, anxiety, and depression are frequently observed in both children and parents, negatively affecting health outcomes and treatment adherence. Since trauma-informed care requires a child- and family-centered, safe, and sensitive approach, educating nursing students on this topic is essential. However, this training is often insufficient in nursing curricula, and its abstract and emotionally challenging nature may hinder students' learning. In this context, the LEGO® Serious Play® method, which helps concretize abstract experiences and supports interactive learning, may serve as an effective educational tool. This study aims to evaluate the effects of trauma-informed pediatric care education delivered through the LSP method on nursing students' knowledge, self-confidence, and satisfaction.

Whole Body Vibration Therapy in Individuals With Type 2 Diabetes

The aim of this interventional study is to investigate the effect of whole body vibration therapy on muscle oxygenation, vibration sensation, functional capacity and balance in individuals with Type 2 diabetes. The main questions aimed to be answered are: * Does whole body vibration therapy affect peripheral muscle oxygenation? * Does whole body vibration therapy improve vibration sense, functional capacity and balance compared to aerobic exercise? Participants' muscle oxygenation, vibration sensation, functional capacity and balance parameters will be assessed. They will participate in a whole body vibration therapy or aerobic training program.

Nursing Students Education Virtual Reality Wound Care

This study is a randomized controlled trial aiming to determine the effect of pressure sore prevention education given to nursing students at a foundation university through virtual reality on student satisfaction, self-confidence perception and knowledge retention. The study will investigate whether virtual reality training affects student satisfaction and self-directed learning skills, differences between pre-test and post-test scores, and retention of the training. 66 nursing students will be included in the study, the experimental group will be trained with VR goggles and the control group will be provided with written material. The data obtained during the data collection process will be analyzed with the SPSS V23.0 program, descriptive statistics and appropriate parametric or nonparametric tests will be used. The measurement tools to be used include the 20-question "Knowledge Assessment Form for Pressure Ulcer Prevention" developed by Jeffries \& Rizzolo and the "Student Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in Learning Scale". Ethics committee approval, relevant permissions and participant consent will be obtained for the study and the data obtained will be stored for 5 years and then destroyed. The literature review reveals the widespread use of virtual reality in education, healthcare and other fields and the critical role of pressure sore prevention in reducing healthcare costs and improving the quality of patient care.
