Compassion-Based Family Intervention for Adolescents

Adolescents with emotional disorders often experience psychological distress that may also affect their parents, creating bidirectional stress within the family. This randomized waitlist-controlled trial will evaluate a 6-week compassion-based family intervention involving adolescents and their parents. A total of 60 parent-adolescent dyads will be randomly assigned to either an intervention group or a waitlist control group. The primary outcomes are adolescents' depressive and anxiety symptoms. Secondary outcomes include broader psychological and family-related measures. Parent-child neural and physiological synchrony will also be explored using fNIRS hyperscanning and wearable devices. Assessments will be conducted at baseline, post-intervention, and 3-month and 6-month follow-ups.

Efficacy and Underlying Mechanisms of Group Natural Psychotherapy for Anxiety Symptoms

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if Natural Psychotherapy(NPT) works to treat anxiety symptoms in university students. It will also learn about the efficacy of Natural Psychotherapy in comparison to CBT. The main questions are: Does online group Natural Psychotherapy lower the participants' anxiety symptoms? Is there any difference between NPT and CBT? Researchers will compare online group Natural Psychotherapy to online group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) to see if Natural Psychotherapy works better to lower anxiety symptoms. Participants will: Attend online groupNPT or group CBT once a week for 4 weeks; Complete online questionnaires before the intervention, after the first week, after four weeks and after eight weeks.

Study on Mental Health Promoting Effects of Natural Psychotherapy for Adolescents

This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the efficacy of a universal intervention based on Natural Psychotherapy in reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms among primary and middle school students. To evaluate both the clinical outcomes and the potential underlying mechanisms of change, data will be collected at four distinct time points: baseline (pre-intervention), post-intervention, 3-month follow-up, and 6-month follow-up.
