Effects of Pelvic Floor Muscle Training Combined With Bladder Training on Some Parametrs of Men With Urinary Frequency

This prospective, single-center, parallel-group, assessor-blinded randomized controlled trial will include 120 voluntary male participants who have had complaints of urinary frequency for at least 3 months and meet the inclusion criteria. Participants will be randomly allocated into two groups (Group 1: Bladder Training + Pelvic Floor Muscle Training; Group 2: Bladder Training Alone). Assessments will be repeated at baseline, at week 4, and at week 8. The primary outcome measure will be 3-day bladder diary data (24-hour voiding frequency); secondary outcomes will include the OAB-V8, ICIQ-OAB, and PGI-I scales, as well as transabdominal ultrasonographic measurements of bladder neck elevation (strength and endurance) and PVR.

The Effect of a Drama-Based Coloring Storybook on Children's Fear, Anxiety, and Pain Management in the Perioperative Process: "Alican's Brave Journey"

This randomized controlled study aims to evaluate the effect of a drama-based coloring storybook on children's fear, anxiety, and pain management during the perioperative process. The study will be conducted with children aged 6-9 years who are scheduled for elective surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to either an intervention group receiving the drama-based coloring storybook or a control group receiving routine preoperative care. Levels of fear, anxiety, and pain will be assessed using validated measurement tools at predefined perioperative time points. The findings are expected to contribute to evidence-based, child-centered perioperative care practices.

The Effect of Video-Supported Online Preoperative Education on Fear, Anxiety, Sleep, and Stress

Gallbladder stone disease is among the most common digestive system problems worldwide. The global incidence of gallstones is estimated to be 10-20%. In Europe, this rate is approximately 20%. In Turkey, the incidence of gallstones is accepted as 6% and it is estimated that an average of 4 million people have gallstones. ). Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the most commonly used minimally invasive technique in the surgical treatment of gallbladder diseases. Although this is a technique, it also has many complications. Although drains placed after surgery are protective and therapeutic, they may cause some complications. Due to all these reasons, there are disadvantages such as lack of training and incomplete information given to the patient before surgery, and the patient not knowing what to do in physiological and psychological preparation before surgery. This training and information seems to be important in post-operative recovery and shortening the hospital period. Pre-surgical virtual training enables early detection of changes in the patient's vital signs, early intervention, and reduction of the number of home visits.
