The aim of this clinical trial is to assess the effectiveness of intratracheal analgesia on pain intensity in cancer patients, from the start of treatment up to 3 months. It will also investigate the safety of this technique. The main questions it seeks to answer are as follows: What is the impact on the use of opioid analgesics, and can this be measured? What is the quality of life? What is the quality of sleep, and can this be assessed? How does the patient's weight change? Is the patient satisfied? What is the patient's overall survival? The researchers will assess the equivalent daily dose of morphine (mg/day) between enrolment and follow-up visits, as well as the number of patients requiring an escalation of analgesic treatment. Overall quality of life score measured using the ESAS questionnaire between enrolment and follow-up visits; satisfaction assessed using a numerical satisfaction scale (0-10); sleep quality assessed using the ISI questionnaire; and the tolerability and safety of the technique assessed by monitoring adverse events. Eligible participants: Following implantation of the intrathecal pump, participants will have scheduled consultations at day 30, then at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, with questionnaires to be completed.

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the time required to record a complete Electrocardiogram (ECG) trace using the DigitalCardio (CardioSecur®) tablet device versus a standard 12-lead ECG device in eligible patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is there a difference in diagnostic recording time (in minutes) between the DigitalCardio tablet and a standard ECG machine? How do the two devices compare in terms of trace quality (including QRS duration, QT interval, frontal axis measurements, and missing/erroneous leads)? How satisfied are healthcare professionals with the CardioSecur® device? Researchers will compare Group A (standard 10-electrode ECG followed by 4-electrode ECG) to Group B (4-electrode ECG followed by standard 10-electrode ECG) in a 1:1 randomized crossover design to evaluate recording efficiency and trace quality. Participants will: Complete an initial screening visit with the principal investigator to review eligibility criteria and sign the informed consent form. Be randomly assigned (1:1 ratio) to either Group A or Group B. Undergo both ECG recording methods sequentially (a standard 10-electrode ECG and a 4-electrode ECG using the DigitalCardio tablet), while researchers measure the total time elapsed from electrode placement to obtaining a complete trace.

The goal of this clinical trial (prospective, comparative, and randomized double-blind study) is to learn if Reiki (a non-pharmacological intervention), when used alongside standard care, can treat and reduce postoperative pain in patients recovering from lumbar surgery (60 participants total, divided into two groups of 30). The main questions it aims to answer are: Does Reiki significantly reduce postoperative pain levels at day 15 (measured by a Visual Analog Scale) compared to a Sham (placebo) treatment? Does Reiki improve patient quality of life, enhance scar healing, lower daily analgesic consumption, and increase overall patient satisfaction compared to the Sham treatment? Researchers will compare Group A (30 patients receiving Reiki sessions alongside usual care) to Group B (30 patients receiving Sham/placebo sessions alongside usual care) to see if the Reiki group experiences lower pain levels, reduced need for painkillers, better healing, and higher overall satisfaction and quality of life. Participants will: * Receive standard postoperative care following their lumbar surgery. * Be randomly assigned to receive either two sessions of actual Reiki therapy or two sessions of a Sham (placebo) treatment. * Evaluate their daily pain levels using a Visual Analog Scale (EVA). * Complete follow-up assessments at specific intervals (Day 15, Day 21, and Day 30) to track pain levels, pain medication intake, scar healing (using a colorimetric scale), quality of life (via the SF-12 questionnaire), and overall satisfaction (via the Clinical Global Impression scale).

Auriculotherapy has demonstrated promising potential in the management of postoperative pain. Additionally, one study reported encouraging outcomes regarding the reduction of anxiety levels among patients in primary healthcare settings. Nevertheless, further high-quality research is required to substantiate these findings and to support the integration of auriculotherapy into standardized therapeutic protocols. This study involves patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery (lumbar arthrodesis). It compares the effects of Reiki, an energy-based therapy, with conventional approaches to relieve postoperative pain. The goal is to determine whether this non-drug method can help reduce pain, limit the use of painkillers, and enhance patient comfort during recovery.

The aim of our study is to assess the effect of a combined physiotherapy and osteopathy treatment versus a placebo on the management of disability and quality of life after lumbar arthrodesis. This study will provide a better assessment of the use of osteopathy as a non pharmacological approach to post-operative management. For this purpose, We will analyze the effects of these two approaches, targeted and non-targeted osteopathy (TO vs. NTO), on patients' disability and quality of life after surgery.

Auriculotherapy shows promising potential for pain management in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Studies have demonstrated encouraging results in pain reduction and improvement in quality of life. However, further research is required to strengthen these findings and fully integrate auriculotherapy into standard treatment protocols for CTS. this prospective, double-blind comparative study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of auricular acupuncture in managing postoperative pain following outpatient carpal tunnel surgery

The aim of our study is to evaluate the two surgical approaches, standard thyroidectomy and robotic thyroidectomy, in terms of postoperative pain management, scar quality, quality of life, as well as the occurrence of postoperative complications (hypocalcemia, compressive cervical hematoma and nerve stimulation)

Rhizarthrosis is a form of osteoarthritis that affects the trapeziometacarpal joint at the base of the thumb, which is more common in women over 50. Genetic and hormonal factors as well as the frequency of certain physical movements may contribute to its appearance. Surgical treatment is recommended if medical treatment fails, and trapezectomy is currently considered the standard method, although 3rd generation trapeziometacarpal prostheses are also available. The aim of this study is to compare the clinical and radiographic results after surgical treatment of rhizarthrosis: prosthesis versus trapezectomy.
