Cognitive Stimulation Program With Virtual Reality for Older Adults With Depressive Symptoms

The aim of this pilot RCT is the development, implementation, and evaluation of a cognitive stimulation program with virtual reality for individuals aged 65 or older who have depressive symptoms and attend Portuguese day centers. The program aims to promote their cognitive functioning, well-being and functionality, and to reduce their depressive symptoms. A pilot study of the program will be conducted to assess its feasibility and preliminary efficacy.

ACT-based Intervention Enhanced With VR for Older Adults With Anxiety Symptoms

The goal of this pilot RCT is to develop, implement and evaluate an Intervention Program based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy using virtual reality as one of the components, in a sample of individuals aged 65 or older with anxiety symptoms enrolled in Portuguese day centers, with the aim of evaluating the feasibility, acceptability and preliminary evidence of efficacy of the intervention program and exploring the attitudes, behaviors and perceived barriers on the part of the participants towards the intervention.

Internet Delivered Therapy for Social Anxiety in Adults

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if an internet-delivered CBT protocol for social anxiety in adults (PORTiSOFIE) is effective in Portugal. It will also learn about the impact that PORTiSOFIE may have on relationship dimensions of these individuals. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does PORTiSOFIE is effective? What impact PORTiSOFIE has in relationship dimensions? Participants will: Be assigned to experimental group and receive intervention briefly after screening is complete; Or control group and only receive intervention after the experimental group finishes.
