Hepatectomy Combined With Camrelizumab and Apatinib in CNLC Stage IIIb HCC

This study intends to prospectively enroll CNLC stage IIIb HCC cases with extrahepatic metastasis and intrahepatic lesions that are expected to be radical resected in several domestic clinical centers, and observe the OS and ORR, DCR, DOR, TTP and PFS of patients receiving hepatectomy combined with apatinib + carrelli pearl treatment.

Stomach-Partitioning Versus Conventional Gastrojejunostomy for Malignant Gastric Outlet Obstruction: A Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial

Gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) complicates locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer and severely impairs oral intake, nutritional status, and quality of life. Conventional gastrojejunostomy (CGJ) effectively relieves the obstruction but is associated with a high incidence of delayed gastric emptying (DGE), which delays the resumption of oral intake and the initiation of systemic anticancer therapy. Stomach-partitioning gastrojejunostomy (SPGJ) isolates the tumour-bearing distal stomach from the alimentary tract and has been suggested, in retrospective studies, to reduce the incidence of DGE. However, no randomized evidence is currently available, and the comparative safety and efficacy of SPGJ and CGJ remain uncertain. This multicenter, randomized, open-label, blinded-outcome-assessment trial will randomly assign 80 participants with unresectable distal gastric adenocarcinoma complicated by GOO, in a 1:1 ratio, to undergo either SPGJ or CGJ. The primary endpoint is the incidence of postoperative DGE within 30 days after surgery.

Adjuvant Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in Postoperative Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Though hepatectomy is one of the curative treatment for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the 5-years recurrence-free survival is lower than 30%. In recent years, several immune checkpoint inhibitors have been approved in advanced HCC. However, no study about the safety and efficacy of adjuvant immune checkpoint inhibitors for patients with HCC after hepatectomy was reported.

Multimodal Imaging and Digital Pathology for Prostate Cancer Prediction

This is a multicenter observational study. A deep learning model integrated with multimodal imaging and digital pathology spatial registration is built based on preoperative multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging, transrectal ultrasound and postoperative digital pathological whole slide images. The study is designed to achieve accurate prediction of clinically significant prostate cancer and non-invasive risk stratification. Unnecessary prostate biopsy and overdiagnosis can be reduced to support the optimization of clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies.

Adjuvant TACE in HCC With High-risk Recurrence Factors

The 5-year recurrence rate after curative hepatectomy of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains as high as 70%. According to the Chinese Liver Cancer Staging (CNLC), transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is strongly recommended as an adjuvant therapy after curative hepatectomy, aiming to reduce postoperative recurrence and ultimately improve overall survival. However, the effectiveness of such adjuvant postoperative therapy remains controversial. In contrast, guidelines from other countries or regions do not recommend adjuvant TACE after curative hepatectomy. This discrepancy may stem from the fact that adjuvant TACE primarily serves to detect intrahepatic residual lesions via digital subtraction angiography, rather than exerting preventive or therapeutic effects through the embolic agents or chemotherapeutic drugs themselves. This study will evaluate the impact of adjuvant TACE on recurrence-free survival in HCC patients with high-risk recurrence factors who have undergone curative hepatectomy. This study is a Phase III randomized controlled trial in which a total of 442 eligible participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either the adjuvant TACE group or the intensive follow-up group. The two groups will be compared with respect to recurrence-free survival, overall survival, incidence of treatment-related adverse events and serious adverse events, incidence of treatment discontinuation due to treatment-related adverse events or serious adverse events, median recurrence-free survival, and time to recurrence.

The Workplace-Based Hypertension Management Program

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a workplace-based, multicomponent hypertension management program for newly diagnosed patients. Investigators will recruit 512 participants (256 pairs) from the Kailuan Study in Tangshan, China. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive a Workplace-based Multicomponent Hypertension Management Program or Standard Workplace Health Management. The primary objective is to assess improvements in blood pressure control and hypertension-related health behaviors.
