The Impact of Qualia Vitamin C+ on Individuals With Suboptimal and Adequate Vitamin C Levels

This is a double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, study evaluating the effect of a Qualia Vitamin C+ formulation on Whole Blood Vitamin C levels in the blood of healthy adults aged 25 years or older that have suboptimal vitamin C blood levels (i.e., 0.4 - 0.9 mg/dL) and those with adequate vitamin C blood levels (≥0.9 mg/dL). Approximately 152 (76 in the suboptimal stratum and 76 in the adequate stratum) participants will be assigned to one of two study arms: Qualia Vitamin C+ or placebo. Each participant will take two capsules of their assigned product once daily in the morning, with or without food, over a 28-day period. The primary outcome is the change in blood vitamin C levels in the suboptimal stratum, assessed via lab blood collection at baseline and study completion. Secondary endpoints include the change in blood vitamin C levels, assessed via lab blood collection at baseline and study completion in the entire group, questionnaires measuring health-related Quality of Life and fatigue (RAND-36 and the FACIT-Fatigue Scale), the Single-item Assessment of Immune Fitness, evaluation of safety and tolerability, and an Overall Experience Questionnaire. Further, a sub-group analysis of fatigued participants meeting at least mild to moderate fatigue as measured by the FACIT-Fatigue will be a secondary objective. The NCI Fruits and Vegetable Screener - All-Day Screener will also be used to assess intake at baseline and study completion. All assessments, including electronic questionnaires, are completed remotely without in-person visits.

Efficacy of Qualia Testosterone+ on Testosterone Levels in Adult Males

This is a double-blind, placebo-controlled, triple-arm, parallel-group study evaluating the efficacy and tolerability of two distinct Qualia Testosterone+ formulations, novel dietary supplements formulated to support endogenous testosterone, in adult males aged 28-65. Approximately 75 participants will be assigned equally to receive Qualia Testosterone+ Formula 1, Qualia Testosterone+ Formula 2, or a matched placebo (3 capsules once each morning) for 28 days. The primary outcome is between-group change in total testosterone from baseline to day 28. Secondary outcomes include changes in free (dialysis) testosterone, the Aging Male Symptoms Scale, the PROMIS Short Form v1.0 - Fatigue 10a, and safety and tolerability assessments. Blood samples will be collected in a clinical laboratory setting, while symptom and safety assessments will be completed electronically at home.

Impact of Two Iron Formulations on Iron Biomarkers and Quality of Life

This double-blind parallel pilot study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of two Qualia Iron formulations versus placebo in approximately 40 healthy adults (aged 18+) over a 56-day period. Approximately 40 participants will be assigned to three study arms: Qualia Iron Version 1, 2, (n=15 each) or a Placebo (n=10). Each participant will take one or two capsules once daily in the morning, with or without food. The supplementation regimen is a 5 days on, 2 days off protocol, and goes for 56 days (8 weeks). The primary outcomes of this study are to assess between-group changes in iron status biomarkers. Secondary outcomes include within-group changes in iron status biomarkers, safety and tolerability as measured by a custom Safety and Tolerability survey, and RAND SF-36 quality of life scores.

An Open-Label, Two-Arm Pilot Study of the Tolerability, Consumer Acceptability, and Exploratory Well-Being Outcomes of a Multi-Ingredient Protein Formula in Two Flavors in Healthy Adults

This is an open-label, two-arm pilot study designed to evaluate the tolerability, consumer acceptability, and well-being outcomes of a multi-ingredient protein formula, available in two flavors (Vanilla Protein Formula and Chocolate Protein Formula), in generally healthy adults aged 21-65 with a BMI of 18.5-34.9 kg/m². Approximately 50 participants will be allocated in a 1:1 ratio, balanced on age and gender, to receive either the vanilla or chocolate formula (approximately 25 participants per arm). Participants will consume one serving (1 scoop, 51 grams) of their assigned product daily for 15 consecutive days, reconstituted in water or a beverage of their choice. The primary outcomes are safety and tolerability, assessed via a Safety and Tolerability Questionnaire, and changes in global health assessed using the Global-10 scale. Secondary outcomes include changes in cognitive function assessed using the PROMIS v2.0 Cognitive Function - Abilities 8a instruments, and consumer acceptability, measured using a 9-point hedonic liking scale. All assessments are self-reported and completed electronically at home.
