Effects of a Wearable Device ,Phone App and Exercise on Cervico-thoracic Posture in University Students.

Forward head posture and thoracic kyphosis are among the most common postural problems in university students, driven largely by long hours of screen use and poor sitting habits. Research suggests that nearly two-thirds of university students show measurable forward head posture, and if uncorrected, it is linked to chronic neck pain and long-term musculoskeletal strain. This study compares three approaches to correcting posture over a six-week supervised exercise program: a wearable sensor belt that vibrates in real time when posture slips, a smartphone app that sends scheduled reminders throughout the day, and exercise alone with no reminders. The two technology-assisted groups are prompted to correct their posture throughout daily activities, not just during exercise sessions. The study will show whether real-time or scheduled reminders produce greater improvements in posture, neck pain, and neck function than exercise alone . Helping physical therapists and university health services to identify the most practical strategy for correcting posture in screen-heavy academic environments.

Pain Neuroscience Education and Graded Motor Imagery Combined With Conventional Physiotherapy on Diabetic Adhesive Capsulitis

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) and Graded Motor Imagery (GMI) combined with conventional physiotherapy on pain, kinesiophobia, central sensitization, functional disability, range of motion, and quality of life in patients with Type II diabetic adhesive capsulitis. Adhesive capsulitis is a common musculoskeletal condition characterized by pain and progressive restriction of shoulder movement, particularly among individuals with diabetes mellitus. Conventional physiotherapy is widely used to restore shoulder mobility and function; however, it may not adequately address central sensitization and fear of movement. Pain Neuroscience Education aims to improve patients' understanding of pain mechanisms and reduce maladaptive beliefs, while Graded Motor Imagery targets cortical reorganization and movement-related fear. The combination of these interventions with conventional physiotherapy may improve clinical outcomes and enhance quality of life.

Training to improve somatosensory motor control has been shown to be effective in improving coordination and postural stability and Kinesio taping has the potential to increase proprioceptive input, decrease pain and aid functional recovery.

Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) affects motor planning and functional mobility in children, leading to long-term functional and psychosocial difficulties. This randomized clinical trial will compare the effectiveness of Obstacle Course Training (OCT) and Neuromotor Task Training (NTT) in improving motor planning and functional mobility in children aged 7-10 years diagnosed with DCD. Effects of the Active Cycle of Breathing Technique With and Without Balloon Blowing Therapy in Tuberculosis

The study design will be a randomized controlled trial. The data will be collected from Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital, Lahore. 34 kids aged 8 to 14 years will be randomly assigned either to an experimental group or a control group. The intervention group includes the active Cycle of Breathing technique with balloon-blowing therapy for 3 days. The control group includes the active cycle of breathing technique. Sputum secretion will be measured by 'sputum measurement cups." Dyspnea will be measured by the "Modified Borg dyspne Scale," and functional capacity will be measured by the "6-Minute Walk Test." Data will be analyzed through SPSS version 25.0.

Inter-Rater Reliability of Ultra Sound Based Rectus Abdominis Thickness Following Blood Flow Restriction Training

Accurate assessment of skeletal muscle morphology is important in sports physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, and research. B-mode ultrasonography is a non-invasive and accessible method for assessing muscle thickness; however, ultrasound-based measurements may be influenced by image acquisition, anatomical landmark identification, and operator-dependent measurement procedures. Establishing inter-rater reliability is therefore essential to determine whether different assessors can obtain consistent measurements of muscle thickness from the same ultrasound images. The rectus abdominis is an important component of the abdominal musculature and contributes to trunk stabilization and functional performance during exercise. Blood flow restriction (BFR) training has gained increasing attention as a low-load exercise strategy for promoting muscular adaptations, although research has predominantly focused on peripheral limb muscles. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the inter-rater reliability of ultrasound-based rectus abdominis muscle thickness measurements following a standardized BFR training protocol using ImageJ software. Establishing reliable measurement of rectus abdominis thickness will provide a methodological basis for future research investigating abdominal muscle morphology and adaptations in sports physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, and BFR-based training.

The patients with depression and obesity will receive add-on metformin with antidepressant therapy, which may result in greater improvement in depressive symptoms and BMI reduction compared to antidepressant monotherapy. Intralesional Therapies For Cutaneous Viral Warts: A Comparative Analysis Of Vitamin D3 And Acyclovir

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if injecting acyclovir (an antiviral drug) or vitamin D3 directly into skin warts works to clear them in people aged 12 and older with common, plantar, flat, or periungual (around the nail) warts. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does intralesional acyclovir or vitamin D3 lead to complete clearance of warts by week 8? 2. Which treatment clears warts more effectively? 3. What side effects do participants have with each treatment? Researchers will compare acyclovir injections (Group A) to vitamin D3 injections (Group B), with 20 participants in each group, to see which treatment works better at clearing warts. Participants will: 1. Receive an injection directly into the wart every 2 weeks for up to 4 sessions 2. Have photographs taken of their warts before treatment and at each visit 3. Visit the clinic for checkups where the size and number of warts will be measured 4. Be followed for up to 3 months to check for wart recurrence and side effects
